Third Person POV

"Why do you even like ballet? Just try out for football or something."

"You can't do ballet; you're a guy."

"What kind of boy does ballet?"

"Cut the girly shit, start acting like a man."

"Man up."

Lloyd had been hearing these words all his life.

So many of his friends and family were dead set against the idea of the blonde continuing ballet. Since then, he's tried to keep it a secret, but still dance when he has the time. Though now that he's a ninja and all, opportunities never seem to come. Plus it's hard to get privacy on the Bounty anyways. The others suspected that something was going on with him from the start; all the balance exercises they do were exasperating, though seemingly effortless for the green ninja. He always played it off as beginners luck, but that excuse won't aid him forever.

Of course his family is aware, but Misako and Wu are the only ones that both know and support it. Some relatives, Lloyd actually enjoyed their company. Unfortunately, they were homophobic.

And he didn't want to lose anyone else because of something as small as this.

To this day, he hasn't told anyone. Not even the boy he loves has a clue that this is actually one of his favorite things to do. The blonde didn't quite know why, but doing ballet was a good way to clear his mind. It really helped him when he was at his lowest.

All of these thoughts came flooding back to Lloyd late at night. And yes; the blonde still had his boyfriend for comfort. Presently, they were right next to each other in bed. Hell, just cuddling with the brunette proved to be successful in sending the latter off to sleep on may occasions. Though that clearly wasn't working now.

Its been ages since he's done this, just once would be fine, right?

Trying his best to be quiet, the blonde slipped out of his boyfriends arms and made his way to the closet. Skimming the interior, it didn't take long for him to find what he wanted; a boom box.

It was small; only a hand-held. But that would be enough. Taking it, he silently left the room and tip-toed to the balcony.

Lloyd sat down the boom box close to the doorway, and took a step back to look at the stars.

The blonde didn't really care for stargazing, but Zane always thought it was relaxing. And now, he could see why. To be honest, he could stay here all night-

'Okay, okay. Enough stalling.' he shook his head.

Lloyd presses the on button, and piano music started to play on the radio. The blonde quietly hummed the tune as he slowly remembered the steps. He could tell it'd be a bit harder to dance somewhere like this, but it could work.

He spun around a few times for the nostalgia, and let out a much needed sigh. "I forgot how fun this was!" he said a little to loud to himself. Feeling giddy, the blonde started to laugh as the music played.

Lloyd took another step, spun around one last time, and began the routine once again. It was almost as if no time passed since he'd last done this. This was the first time in years that Lloyd could finally let go. Relax, and be free to do whatever he wanted without fear of being judged.

Still giggling, he took a short break to stare up at the stars. The lights acted like eyes; calmly watching as Lloyd danced his cares away. He shook his head at the silly thought, and began once more with a pirouette.

Kai stirred awake, noticing that his boyfriend wasn't there with him. 'he could just be in the bathroom...' he thought, and tried to get back to sleep. Luckily there was some music that he could sleep to...

'Wait, what? The hell is that music coming from?'

It didn't sound bad at all; the sound was very relaxing. It sounded familiar to him, but he didn't know exactly why. Faint steps could be heard as well. Whoever it was, they had perfect rhythm...

Walking to the balcony, Kai heard giggling coming from outside. He knew that voice all too well. The brunette sped up as he finally reached the balcony. Kai stood there in awe as he tried to process what he was seeing.

Just as he thought; it was Lloyd. But...he was dancing. Like an expert. The blonde didn't miss a single step;and he looked like an angel with the moonlight. And the giggling just made his lover even cuter.

Lloyd took a small stretch break and as he turned around, the two made eye contact.

The blonde stood still as Kai tried to find the right words to say.

"You're...really good at that." He mumbled.

The blonde started to tear up and ran to Kai, pulling him into a hug.

"P-Please don't hate me for this." Lloyd whispered.

Kai started to stroke his hair. "Lloyd...Why would I hate you for this?"

The blonde started up at him in disbelief as he pulled away. Kai continued;

"It doesn't matter what you like, I'll still treat you the same. Plus, ballet makes you happy. And if it makes you this happy, I'm not gonna stop you."

After a few seconds if silence, Lloyd started to laugh through his tears. 'How could I be so stupid? Of course he wouldn't judge me.' He stared up at Kai with a big smile. "I swear I'll marry you some day." He giggled.

Kai blushed at the thought, but shook it off and smiled. "Do you...wanna dance together?"

"Y-You know ballet??" Lloyd asked, trying to mask his excitement.

Kai nodded; "Nya used to take ballet and forced me to do it with her. It's kinda hard to forget it."

"Ah" the blonde said nervously. "Well..." he paused to give Kai a small kiss on the cheek. "I'm glad you wanna do this with me."

"I wouldn't have it any other way."

The two spent the rest of the night tripping over each other, laughing, and dancing under the starlit sky.
