(i was gonna make the finale of this like a stalker shot, but it was kinda messed up for me to write my favorite character in a situation like that- so here's fluff!
pretend the tree house is the pic above but like no windows on the at the front-)Third Person POV
'Of all places, why here?'
Lloyd stands in the middle of a forest, his feet at the start of a wooden staircase. The oak walkway leads up, towards a tree house that he and his boyfriend used to go to.
Last time he'd seen the place, the house was dark, the wood all over it looking old and withered.
Now though...the place looks just as good as their first date.
The first time they came here was on Halloween. It was the only day close enough where everybody would be out doing something- there was a costume party at school that they skipped- so they spent the night here.
Of course, since it was the first date, it was awkward as hell but it worked. Hours felt like minutes as they hung out, doing various things like climbing tress or just sitting in the bean-bags in silence.
At around midnight, Kai remembers Lloyd falling asleep in his arms while they stargazed on the balcony, and according to him, the blonde muttered some questionable things while he slept.Throughout all of it, they had fun. And that somewhat embarrassing night was the start of a same-amount-embarrassing relationship.

The blonde zips up his lime and green coat, grabs one of the lanterns on the dual wooden posts and treks up the stairs, although the "staircase" is just a swirled and slanted sliver of wood. It's more of a ramp, the planks creaking below him, and he starts to remember just how much he loved the place.
He smiled and thought about the many wonderful nights he spent here, but he was still concerned about whatever his boyfriend had planned. The place does look the same after all. 'I mean, it's cool and all but..'
"..Kai?" He calls out to his boyfriend once he reaches the near top of the passageway, and from where he was, he could see the inside, which seemed to look the same as ever. The same rug in the center and ladder to the second floor at the back wall. "I'm here, what did you want to-"
Lloyd gets to the top, the lantern falling out of his hand and onto the floor as he stands in the door way. (but like it lands upright so nothing burns-)
He forgets what he was saying as he looks at the surrounding area...it was different.
The ladder doesn't have the same dark and dented appearance, the birch wood rungs and beams seem brand new.
To the right side is a more opened but small area, and he only needed to take a few more steps along the ruby and ink rug to see lime and crimson bean-bangs across from one another.
Another rug- this time with dark green stripes- was underneath the bag-chairs and fairy lights lined the border of the window at the side wall. (the window is to the right of the beanbag chairs- hopefully that made sense)
All of this looked nothing like what he remembered. "Oh my god, this is..." Creaking erupted behid him and he turned, yelping. "Kai?!"
The brunette waved nervously and smiled. "Hey, sorry I scared you."
Lloyd sighed. "It's fine, I-" He hadn't looked to the other side of the room until now, and his face lit up at the sight.
Behind Kai was the other section of the first floor, which used to be a worn out mattress and pillows. Now though, it looks like something out of a rom-com movie set.
