LOVE AT FIRST GLANCE

8. Normal work day

Today is a normal work day if you considered murders normal.  The entire team was called out for this one.  We received a call from 911 saying to respond  to the upper elite area of Boston.  A well known family, the Hutchens, International Law firm  were being killed as the youngest teen daughter was calling 911 for help. We all listened to the 911 call. Cavanaugh is even coming with us. Cavanaugh tells Nina Holiday our criminal analyst, " I  want you to find one or more clues before I return." All of the tenure officers, knew he has never stated that before.  Thus, we had to solve this case and put this top priority.   " Since the Hutchens business is an international one, we will be working with several agencies besides the normal ones. I don't want no one communicating with any media outlet. All communication is to go through me no exceptions.  If anyone deviates from my instruction will receive a pink slip and terminated per the PC (police commissioner). Lets get out there."  Frankie went with Korsak.  Frost was with me. Dawson was with Atwater.  Maur brought all her lab technicians and a second medical examiner, Dr. Pike.
" Maur met her lab technicians and fellow medical examiner at the park nearby before they approached the Hutchens home. "LISTEN UP WE
ALL WORK FOR THE PEOPLE.  NO ONE IS TO COMMUNICATE WITH NO ONE BUT ME.  I WILL COMMUNICATE WITH LT. CAVANAUGH. CAVANAUGH HAS LET ME AND THE OTHERS UPSTAIRS THAT SEVERAL AGENCIES BESIDES THE USUAL AGENCIES WE NORMALLY WORK WITH WILL BE INVOLVED IN THIS CASE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES BECAUSE THIS FAMILY WAS AN INTERNATIONAL LAW FORM. ANYONE WHO LEAKS OR SAYS ANYTHING TO ANYONE ELSE NOT FROM OUR DEPARTMENT WHO ISN'T WORKING ON THE CASE WILL RECEIVE A PINK SLIP AND TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY PER THE PC. LET'S GO DO WHAT WE DO TO HELP THEM SOLVE IT.".
Maur finally arrives with Dr. Pike and the lab technicians.  " What took yoy so long? Its not like you Maur.  I was meeting with my people and informing them what Cavanaugh said to us."
The Hutchens wife was found in the tub dead.  Hutchens himself was found in the pool. The son was found in his bedroom with his headphones listening to music and playing video games. The daughter who called it in was found on the roof. I  received a call from Cindy. " Cindy I am sorry.  I can't talk.  Working on a case. I wish we could talk.  I  probably wont communicate until its over.  Sorry . Gotta go. Lt..is starting to stare at love you . "  " SORRY Lt. It was my girlfriend."  It took all of us to gather all the evidence and bodies back to the station. We didn't get back to the station until 11 that night. Lab technicians and medical examiner's returned within three hours of being at the scene. Our day at the Hutchens home started at 9: 15 that morning.
Nina found a few clues four hours into analyzing the recording.  She reported her findings to Cavanaugh.  Listen up. You all get a good night rest. Be back here by 8:30 ready to work.  I went home and picked up fast food, since nothing else was really opened that plate.  I brought food back to Maur and her team.  They took a break.  " Jane we have some clues which I already communicated with Cavanaugh he will communicate with yoy all tomorrow. Go home and try to get some sleep.  None of us won't be leaving here for awhile.  I have called in more lab technicians from other parts of Boston to help tomorrow while I have my regular lab technicians to get some sleep. Pike and I are almost done with the last body of the daughter. Once we are done,  he is going home and I am staying here to sleep."   "Maur I will not leave you here alone. I am staying too." I knew not to debate with Jane. I wouldn't get anywhere and I was already exhausted.  Pike and I finished the last autopsy at two in the morning. I was glad to see Jane had fallen asleep on the couch.  I fell asleep on one of the tables in my lab.
