54. Family & Friends

Tonight is my MA's night to cook for us all. Jacqueline,  Maria,Hope, Caitlyn, Cindy and Cynthia are present learning how to make my MA's raviolis and lasagna. I always smile when I see her happy.
I am laughing at Maur. "I can finally say Angela that I don't need to jump in. I finally got these two recipes down and I take a sip of my wine while having my lap top on looking for new food channel to watch."  Angela chuckles.  " I am glad. It only took you a few years ro get it right."

Angela smiles at me. Angela continues to teach everyone else.  The guys returned from golfing and Jay comes to kiss me. " Babe how come you never told me about Jeff Gordon? I lost a hundred dollars while several others lost fifty over it." "Sorry,  I never mentioned it. We known Jeff, since he and Tommy would race after high school. What brought this up?" "He played golf and wasn't good but had a blast with us guys. He said he prefer racing like NASCAR with some of his pals. We all thought he was BS. He bet us and Severide one of the Chicago guys told him to put the call on speaker.  Just say we were all caught off guard.  He's sending us a gift too."  " I cannot wait to see what he gets us.  I didn't invite him because this is his busy time with racing. "  "MA I told him if I don't make it back there to come and visit."  " Good I miss Jeff and his family.  Okay, ladies here is the stuffing part and easy sealing. Now  all we have to do is  this next step before we add the sauce."  "Tommy I need your expertise help,  well actually James and Jacqueline do. They will explain later."  " Okay, no problem. You know us Rizzoli's help family like MA taught us to do."  MA smiles at Tommy.  A few hours later we were eating all the food Angela and the ladies helped her.  " Angela I enjoyed myself in the kitchen which I hardly make things from scratch anymore.  Well you all enjoy yourselves James and I have some business to deal with and hoping Tommy can help us."  Tommy follows us to our home office with his lap top. " Whats going on that you need my help with?" Jacqueline and James explain their predicament and the deadline they are under to make this property deal to be beneficial and lucrative.  " I will have the mock ups ready by tomorrow morning for you. Thanks I have something to do and it keeps me out of trouble
with my MA worrying about my sex life."
I go to the lounge upstairs and begin working on their project.  " Tommy thanks for doing this for my parents.  I really appreciate it. Jane said you like your sweets when you work late and trying to get it done it a short time.  I  brought you two slices of apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream."  " Thanks Jay I do but talk to you later. I have a few more hours to finish the mock ups for your parents to review in the morning." I  leave Tommy with his sweets  and go cuddle with Jane in bed.  " Jay how is he doing?" "He said a few more hours and he will be ready.  In the meantime,  I know something we can do."  " You do."  We both laugh.  Jane and I made love for a few hours.  " Jane I don't know if I ever will be able to keep up with you. I am drained. "  Jane just laughs and we cuddle more and fall asleep.
I finally finish the mock ups at one. I  take my laptop and go to bed. Frankie is out like a light snoring. Great no sleep for me. I need to get some sleep so I am not tired for tomorrow morning.  I take my pillows and blankets to the downstairs area and fall asleep.

I wake up to Jane staring at me. " You know that freaks me out when you do that."  "I know my reason of many ro torture you. Why did you you sleep here?"  " Frankie was snoring and I needed to sleep well for today's meeting with your fiance parents.  What time is it? I  will talk to you later sis.  I need to take a quick shower to be ready." I  give Tommy a hug.

I feel revived and go downstairs with my laptop to eat breakfast.   Antonio's mother is making breakfast burritos with huevos rancheros. I hurry up and eat my delicious breakfast. " Maria that was delicious."  " Thank you Tommy."  " Your welcome.  Jay,  Jane wish me luck. " I leave 🍍juice and go to their office.  " Alright I got this ready with what you two told me you want. I can make any adjustments you want. I go over the mock ups.  " Tommy this perfect just the way they are. Please forward it to my email," says James. " Jacqueline we can now fire the other guy Tommy did in one night what we were paying this guy a month to do. Thanks Tommy for saving our hinds. We can send this off to the printers and the fabricators and hope we meet the deadline."   "James I took the initiative last night and had Harold a guy who I use often to start the fabrication on the signs. He said he and his crew would have them finish and delivered and attached to the buildings by the  Monday after the guys wedding.  I hope you don't mind. If not, he gets busy and your deadline wouldn't of been met. He just needs the other half of the payment.  I paid for the first part to get him and his crew started.  The delivery cost will be slightly high,  since they will have to fly them in and rent equipment to hang them up.  They usually use their own equipment but being based out of California makes it a little difficult."  " No problem, write up your bill and the guys cost for start up and my office will have a check to you by the end of today's business day."  " James I did this as a favor to Jane. Believe me, I will be paid later on. I  need some photos done and I don't trust anyone else to do it for my portfolio. I will email you the cost to start up the fabrication and what it entails that Harold sent me last night for your records."  " Thanks again and we will definitely make sure we help Jane with her expenses on the project you want her to take photos of."  I  sent James the email with attached bill. "Jane I need a favor from you. I  didn't charge them for my services. I recently did a College dentistry buildings and their campus in  San Francisco. I want you to take photos for my portfolio. His parents said they would cover your costs. Believe me they are getting off cheap on what its going to cost you." Sure no problem but can it wait until after the wedding and our honeymoon?"  " Yes." I  take off to get into my running shorts. I am still into training for the upcoming triathlon in Hawaii.
