I am excited to be going to tonight's fundraiser. Just the ticket alone for my guest and I cost $1,500.00 but supporting Cindy Wade and for a worthy cause is worth it. Frankie, Jane and myself paid for MA's ticket. MA wanted to go to support Cindy tonight. Cindy was grateful for us supporting her in this event that is dear to her.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ flashback I was waiting to hear about Ricky's outcome from the tumor being removed. Both of our families were there. Dwayne and I over heard a man tell the doctor that he couldn't stay too long because he had to check out of the hotel. He couldn't afford another day. He was going to sleep in his car until his wife was released from the hospital. Dwayne approached the man. "Sir I couldn't help but over hear your dilemma. I will pay for the rest of your stay at wherever you are staying. My brother is having his tumor removed and I know how taxing its on us without additional worries about where we will sleep. Please give me your hotel information. I will have then bill me directly." " Sir why would you do that for a total stranger?" He tells me his name finally. Ben I am fortunate with my career that I can help others. " " Sir do you mind if I ask you what you do that is lucrative to do such." " I don't mind at all Ben. I play basketball for the Miami Heat." " Oh my, you are Dwayne Wade. I am sorry I didn't recognize you. I am am Celtic fan myself but still appreciate talented players. I coach the community league but that has been put on hold until my wife gets better. My family comes first. I live in Boston but too far from the hospital. Cindy told me and my family how this fundraiser started. This year I did all the graphics for her for free. This was my donation to her fundraiser besides going tonight and maybe bidding on the silent auction. I finished my work out. I took a shower and was ready in no time to get my date, Lisa Vera Cruz. I used my fob to unlock my car.
