~ Chapter 98 ~ (Redemption)

"Water Breathing, Fourth Form: Striking Tide!" Giyuu begin twisting his body and sword in a flowing fashion, creating multiple consecutive slashes, aiming at a certain Uchiha in front of him.

(Y/N) begin deflecting Giyuu's attack with his own sword as both of their blade clashes with each other, creating a spark.

Giyuu glares at (Y/N) as he look at him with despise. "I thought that I could trust you after Amane-sama's words about you. But perhaps all people do make mistakes and this time, her mistake was to trust you. I knew that you couldn't be trusted after all!" Giyuu said to (Y/N).

"In the end, you're nothing but a murderer" Giyuu begin pushing (Y/N) back as he use his breath to increase his strength. (Y/N) decides to jump away to gain distance. He can see Giyuu chasing after him.

"What's the hell is going on?!" Sanemi said, feeling confused as he watch Giyuu suddenly start to fight a young man on rooftop.

The young man seems to be familiar, like he actually saw him somewhere. Earlier when Muzan was already defeated, Sanemi asked some Kakushi and few crows about the young man himself.

However, he didn't receive any answer that he wanted. The Kakushi said that they don't know who he is, but said that he is on their side against the demons.

The crow's answer also leave him in the dark. The crows told him that they know who's the young man is but they are not allowed to tell anyone  the young man's identity, saying that Oyakata-sama forbidden them to do so.

But they also said just like the Kakushi that the young man is on their side and not a threat. But if he's on their side, why Giyuu is fighting with him right now? He can see both of their blades continue clashing with each other.

Sanemi decided to investigate into this matter as he begin jumping from wall to wall before reaching the roof of another building. Before he could chase after Giyuu, he saw a young girl crying by herself while he can see a figure laying unconscious beside her on one of the rooftop.

Sanemi jump from roof to roof until he lands in front of her. As he can see the two of them closely, he immediately recognise both of them. The unconscious boy is Tanjirou Kamado while the young girl is the Kocho's adoptive sister.

Without wasting any time, Sanemi immediately begin asking her, "Hey you... You're the Kocho's younger sister right? Tell me, what happened just now?" Sanemi asked her.

Kanao looked at Sanemi with tears on her eyes before she slowly stand up. As she finally stand up straight in front of him, Sanemi eyes become wide as he saw something in Kanao's hand.

"Aren't those... Belongs to the Kocho sisters?" Sanemi point out as he saw the butterfly hairpins in Kanao's grasp. Kanao just looked at him with a sad gaze before she slowly nods.

Suddenly, another figure lands beside the two of them. "Sanemi, what is going on here?" It's Kyojuro, who asked.

Kyojuro then heard the sounds of steel clashing before he saw Giyuu is fighting with a certain Uchiha at distance. "What?! Why Giyuu is battling him? That young man is not our enemy. He helped us to fought and finish off Muzan." Kyojuro asked with a clear worry in his voice.

"Do you know who he is, Kyojuro?" Sanemi asked since Kyojuro seems to know something about the young man. Kyojuro look at Sanemi with a questionable look.

"You don't remember him? That young man is (Y/N) Uchiha." Kyojuro told Sanemi. Sanemi eyes goes wide as he finally realise why (Y/N) seems so familiar to him.

(Y/N) Uchiha, the criminal behind the Kocho's parents death. He can still remember when the Uchiha was found 'dead' when he, Kyojuro and Gyomei went to save the Kocho sisters.
