~ Chapter 100 ~ (No Matter What)

The sky is filled with dark clouds as the weather is rather windy and cold. However, not a single drop of rain falls down from the skies as they can only feel the cold wind on their skins.

Instead, there were few drops of tears, falling onto the ground as a lot of people stood in front of the funerals as they mourn for their lose comrades, subordinates and friends.

Yesterday was the day when they celebrated in joy for humanity who stood victorious against the demons which were no longer exist (except Tamayo, Yushirou and Chachamaru) with the death of Muzan Kibutsuji.

However, the world no longer has evil demons, but it was at the cost of many sacrifices. A lot of lives were lost to achieve this victory. A war for the sake of tommorow for humanity to keep living without being terrorised in the night by demons.

In the end, their sacrifices were not in vain as Muzan Kibutsuji has been slayed and humanity can finally live peacefully.

Today, they finally managed to bury everyone who were killed in battle as they are attending the funeral. Everyone respectfully stood in front of each graves as there was nothing but sadness surrounding everyone.

Kagaya walk pass through the funerals as he look at all the names of the gravestone. These names will never be forgotten inside his mind as the one who sacrificed themselves for the sake of humanity.

Beside him is his wife, Amane who is accompanying him currently. She's already used to Kagaya's behavior which is remembering every single member of the corps and visits the deceased members at their cemetery.

Their children are also around at few others graves as they also paid their own respect to the fallen. Every single one of the Ubuyashiki's family are also attending the funeral.

Kagaya passed few people as he continue to look at the names written at the graves. Then, he begin to saw a certain familiar group of people .

He can see few Hashira like Mitsuri, Giyuu, Kyojuro and Mitsuri standing in front of two certain graves. There's also the retired Sound Pillar, Tengen. The two certain graves had two names on it.

Muichiro Tokito.

Gyomei Himejima.

He can see all of them paying their own respect to their fallen comrades. He can also see that on the other side of the grave, stood Sanemi who is standing in front a grave with one name on it. His brother's name, Genya Shinazugawa.

Kagaya with Amane continue to walk further as he walk pass behind them silently, trying not to bother and leaving them alone.

He continue to walk while looking at the names on the graves until he reach the last one. The last one had three people standing in front of it. He can also see one certain name on the gravestone.

(Y/N) Uchiha.

The three people who stood in front of his grave are Kanae, Shinobu and surprisingly, Kanao. Kanae and Shinobu just stared at the grave silently while Kanao looked at the ground with sad gaze.

"Kanae nee-san... Shinobu nee-san... I'm sorry... This is all my fault... I'm the reason... For this to happen to him" Kanao apologised while still looking at the ground. She couldn't even look at her sisters in their eyes.

Yesterday after (Y/N) revealed the past about the Kocho sisters, Kanao immediately goes straight away to find the Kakushi for supplies to give to Shinobu so she can treat him.

But when she arrived, it was already too late. All she can see was her step sisters silently weeping by themselves while holding his lifeless body, trying to wake him up but unable to do so.
