~ Chapter 75 ~ (Memories)

Kanae managed to land an attack on Doma as she decapitated his left hand. However, Doma was not disturbed by this as he immediately swing his fan at her with his right.

Kanae immediately jumped away as she can feel the cold breeze from the fan. Doma shortly later already regenerate his left hand. Shinobu meanwhile is thinking deeply within herself while cautiously watching the demon in front of her.

'It's been 30 minutes...but nothing has happened to him! His regeneration didn't even slow down at all. There's not even a single sign at all that he is weakening. What did I do wrong? Did his body resistance already took care of the poison inside him?' Shinobu thought to herself.

She try to think all the possibilities that could be the cause of the poison not working. However, it only cause her to gain few headaches thinking about it.

"Shinobu, focus!" Kanae shouted as she saw Shinobu lingering in her. Doma immediately goes straight for Shinobu as he saw that she is inside her own head.

However, didn't put her guard down at all. She instantly dodged Doma's slashes before she retreated away from the demon.

"My, my~! Someone's in her own world. Are you thinking about me?" Doma said teasingly. Shinobu had a look of disgust as she feels like she's about to puke.

However, the demon is right, she can't deny about it, she is thinking about Doma...

Thinking about every way she could kill him and reduce him to ashes...

Kanae appeared next to Shinobu as she looked at her sister's face. She knew that Shinobu was probably thinking about the poison she injected into the demon.

"Shinobu, listen! Even if the poison did not work, it's fine. Not everything can go into our way. We can find another way to kill him." Kanae said.

Shinobu looked at her sister, "Sorry, Nee-san. It's just that... I put a lot of work creating that poison with Tamayo...but in the end, it was all for nothing." Shinobu told her with clear disappointment.

Kanae smiled at her sister and put her hand on Shinobu's shoulder. "It's not your fault. We still have other options. It's not over yet, Shinobu." Kanae said reassuringly.

Shinobu just looked at her sister and a small smile appeared on her face before she nodded. Kanae and Shinobu looked at the demon in front of them while Doma just smiled at them in carefree manner.

"Let's finish this, Shinobu! We need to catch up with (Y/N) after all" Kanae said as she took her own stance while grinning. "Yes! Let's not waste our time anymore." Shinobu agreed while smiling to herself before she took her own stance.

"It seems like we have another guest arriving!" Doma said. Kanae and Shinobu also stopped in their own tracks as they heard footsteps incoming.

The doors on the side opened and someone entered, "Kanae nee-san! Shinobu nee-san!" all of them heard someone shouted. Kanae and Shinobu immediately recognised the voice.

"Kanao!" Shinobu called. The new arrived Kanao heard someone calling for her. She looked people inside the room and saw both of her sisters.

Kanao shortly jumped toward them and landed beside both of them. "Kanae nee-san! Shinobu nee-san! I'm glad both of you are alright." Kanao said in relieve.

"Oh my~, I really need to say thank you to Nakime. Three beautiful girls alone with me right now." Doma said in glee. Kanao looked at the demon strangely.

"Ignore him Kanao, he's not right in the mind" Shinobu told Kanao. Kanao just nodded at Shinobu in understanding. "With Kanao here, we might have a better chance against him." Kanae said.
