THIRD POV:
Rey sat in the cold as little flurries of snow fell into the Resistance camp.
Another week had passed and it had been snowing like crazy. Rey sat outside talking with Stut, having a good time. Padme was tied to Rey's chest, snugged in, with blankets tied around her as well with heating pads.
Bronwyn and Kat were coming back today and Stut was over the rails happy. It had been two weeks since they left and they're almost here.
"T-they should be a-here in a-a hour or 30 minutes!" Stut said excitedly, his accent coming into play.
A small purr warmed in Rey's throat as she had a soft spot for the young boy. It was nice to see him jittery and excited. She always wondered what it was like to have siblings.. Maybe Padme will be able to in the future.
"Stut you look so excited it's as if your waiting for the last minute to use the refresher!" Rey exclaimed.
Stut turned into a bright red and shifted onto one foot to another, embarrassed, "Kind of am.. I is to e-excited to go bathroom! Wh-what's happens if I a-miss them?"
Rey chuckled, "Your not going to, now go!"
"Oh alright, be right b-back!" Stut then scurried away as Rey stifled a laugh as she turned her gaze back to look down at Padme, making sure she was warm.
She was, and she was dead asleep. Rey gave her a bottle before they went out. Padme was a handful to take care of, but Rey didn't mind at all. She was a wonderful bundle of joy.
Rey then looked up and saw one of the Resistance members staring at her, a fierce gaze, as if he was trying to intimidate her. She looked away shyly and turned her attention back to Padme.
For some reason that had been going on for a while, ever since like a week since Padme was born, people kept their distance from her, gave her uneasy glances, even snarl at her and give her mean remarks under their breath.
Rey had been trying to shrug it off, thinking people are just cold, tired, and irritated from the weather. I mean, Rey hadn't done anything wrong, she never gave the Resistance a reason to not trust her.. well except for the reason she slept with the Supreme Leader of the First Order... and bared his child.
When Rey looked back up to look at the fighter once more, he was gone. She looked around for him and didn't see him anywhere. She shook her head and held Padme close to her chest.
Then Rey felt a pain and then she was shoved to the ground, and hit the ground with a loud thud. Padme started to cry fiercely, the impact waking her up frightfully.
She looked up and saw that same Resistance fighter standing over her. His eyes cold,"Is it true?!" he yelled as he grabbed Rey's shirt.
Rey looked at him in horror, "W-what?!"
"Is.It.True?!"
Rey shook her head, "W-what are you talking about?!"
He pointed at Padme, "Is that it true that thing is the daughter of the Supreme Leader?"
"I.. I.." Rey was lost of words as he still held onto her shirt, Padme cries and the fighters outbreak making other Resistance members turn their heads and look at the scene in front of them.
