Hello my loves, I am back <3
I had been walking around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes now, and the only thing I have figured out is how sensitive my feet are. That and even though I haven't smoked in my life my cardio still sucks ass.
I figured if I couldn't find Toni, he didn't want to be found. I just hope he was safe, he would probably turn up in the morning. But the thought of me not knowing what was going on with him made my insides turn, probably a twin thing.
I decided just to turn in to the Curtis house, where I could find my other brother. Me and Keith weren't that close, we still loved each other and everything but we had a different bond that I shared with Toni.
Keith was always much more on my ass than Toni was. But at least he wasn't as strict with me as Darry was with Pony. But it didn't really matter because every time I found myself at the Curtis house Darry had a thing or two to lecture me about.
Finally finding my way back to the Curtis house, I made my way up their front porch steps. The scene through the window made me stop in my tracks before going through the door. The boys were horsing around and laughing with each other. Seeing them happy made my heart warm.
They all had their own stories to their life, but they didn't let it really affect them too much, especially when they were around each other. They all helped each other to live and to forget all their problems.
As much as they warmed my heart, they still all managed to get on my nerves, some more than others.
I let out a sigh and finally made my way through the door, the laughs and voices fully erupting through my ears.
"What, no Toni tonight?" Steve questioned as I walked through the door.
He was leaning on the wall with piece of cake in one hand and a beer in the other, which seemed like a pretty weird combo to me but whatever.
"No I guess not," I replied shortly.
"It's weird not seeing you two together, you guys just complete each other," Pony said looking up from his book.
I nodded my head at Pony, because he was absolutely right. It was weird to explain, but Toni completed me in some way. We were twins, but exact opposites. We completed each other like Ying and Yang.
I smiled and plopped down next to Soda completely blocking out the rest of the boys in the house, "you wanna play a game of cards with me?"
He smiled, "I would love to, but I got to start getting ready for bed, I got work in the morning."
I flicked a rapper at him, "You're no fun, just skip for one day, would they actually fire you for that?"
He crossed his arms and laughed amused by my question, "Yes Tori, they actually would, so if you don't mind I got to go to bed, I have responsibilities. Not everyone can be mischievous all the time like you and you're twin."
I smirked and leaned closer, "Just be mischievous with me for one night."
Soda blushed a deep red, and was going to reply but no words came out. I really did fluster him, and that made me smirk even more.
I felt arms wrap around me and pick me up out of the chair, "You're going to be sitting next to me the rest of the night, since you think you're grown."
I looked up to see a very irritated Two-bit. Out of the group he was the one making the jokes and always laid back, but me and Toni always brought a different side out of him.
