Once we got to school, the bell rang. I looked at Adam and Christina. "Just in time. Let's go to the office to get your schedule." I stated. Christina nodded. "Adam, go to your class so you're not late. You can't afford to be late." I demanded. Adam shot me a mean look and he left. I looked back at Christina. "Let's go." Me and Christina walked over to the office to the counselor since she is the one who makes the schedules.

"Is this school very nice?" She asked. I shrugged.

"Almost everyone at this school is on a hockey team. So we are only nice to the people on our team or people who just, don't play hockey in general." I answered.

"Will people be nice to me?" Christina asked with much worry in her voice. I opened the office door and we walked in.

"Believe me, lots of people will like you." I said. She sighed and nodded.

"What do you girls need?" I heard the principal asked. We looked over and saw her sitting at her desk, looking straight at us.

"This is our uh, new student from Italy." I replied.

"Ah! You must be Christina! Do you speak English?" Mrs. Gunn asked. Christina nodded.

"Indeed I do. I am a little rusty, but I am very good at the language of English." Christina said. Mrs. Gunn nodded and got up from her desk. She came over to us and handed Christina her classes.

"Here you go, all your classes. Ski, show Christina where her classes are, then report to your class."

"Okay." Christina and I started to leave the office.

"Oh! And if you need anything," Mrs. Gunn squeezed in. "Just come down to the office and we will be happy to help."

"Thank you so much! I will truly remember that." Christina said. We walked out of the office and started to walk to her first class.

"Okay, if you wanna blend in with the rest of the kids, you gotta talk like us." I said with a laugh.

"And how do I talk like the kids of Minnesota?" Christina asked.

"Let's start off with that sentence." I stated. "You said, 'kids of Minersota'. Just say 'Minnesota kids'." I said. She nodded.

"Okay, how do I speak like the Min-"

"Drop the 'the'." I said.

"Okay, how do I speak like Minnesota kids?" She asked. I smiled.

"Better." I said. She smiled.

"I'm not used to the speaking of English..." She stated.

"I'm not used to speaking English." I corrected.

"Okay, so sorry." She said.

"Just say sorry." I stated.

"Sorry...."
