I was in the locker room, getting ready for the game. We play the Huskies today, which is kind of nerve racking because they're a really good team. Third place on the score board. Hawks in first. Again, nerve racking. I started to put my leg pads on.

"Hey Banks." I heard someone say. I didn't look up because they're calling Adam, not me. "Okay, never mind." The person said. I looked up and saw Charlie walking away.

"Wait, Charlie." I said. He turned around and looked at me. "Hey sorry, I thought you were calling Adam. That's his nickname." I stated. Charlie nodded.

"Oh, okay. Thought you didn't like me." Charlie said. I stared at him. "I mean, not like that, I mean like as a friend. Not that I don't like like you, I mean-"

"Charlie it's okay, don't hurt yourself." I said with a laugh. Charlie took a deep breath.

"Okay, sorry." He apologized. I smiled. He put his head down. "Um, uh, maybe after the game, we can go down to Mickeys?" Charlie asked shyly. I smiled even more.

"Alright. I would love that." I replied. Charlie said.

"Okay. Great."
