Ski

Christina nodded. We walked away from Alex so he didn't hear what I was about to say. "Ski? Why would you like to talk to me?" Christina asked. I stopped walking. I turned to face her.

"Are you dating him?" I asked. She shot me a confused look.

"Excuse me? No, I am not dating Alex." Christina asked. "Are you dating Alex?"

"Yes... No... Yes... No!" I kept on yelling. I sighed. "Look, I just like him a lot..." Christina nodded.

"I do understand. I will not hang out with Alex anymore." Christina stated as she held her head high and closed her eyes. I shook my head and sighed.

"No, no, you can hang with him. You know what, I don't care." I sighed.

"Are you sure, because you do not sound so sure about the question." Christina implied. I nodded.

"I'm fine..."

"Come on guys! Faster!" Coach yelled. I started to do faster sprints. Christina was trying out for the team since she is new to the team. I think she's doing good because Coach is really liking her for the team. Charlie came sprinting over to me.

"Who's the new girl?" He asked. I did three long strides, then looked at him real quick.

"Christina. She's from Italy. She was on Team Italy and now wants to be on this team." I replied. He nodded.

"Yeah. She looks nice." He implied.

"Wow, you're like, the first day not to fall head over heels for." I laughed a little. He stayed silent, not looking at me. "Anyway," I continued. "She just needs to learn how to blend in." I stated.

"What do you mean?" Charlie asked.

"Okay team! Bring it in!" Coach called out. I stopped and skated over to him with Charlie. We all took a knee. "As you all know, we have a new player of our team. I want to introduce her to the team so please welcome Christina!" Coach introduced. Christina got up and skated over to Coach. "Okay, please tell us a little about yourself."

"Hello, my name is Christina. I am originally from Italy. I did live in the states when I was very young, then I moved back to Italy. My first language is Italian, and my second language is English. I did play for the Team Italy a year before. Which was an amazing experience. I am very glad I am here with you guys and girls. Thank you." I looked at Charlie.

"Oh, yeah. She needs to blend in." He stated. I started to laugh.
