Ski

"But yes, you're team sounds like they could use much practice to make themselves greater." Anthony replied. I nodded.

"Yeah, well, we're working on them." I laughed. I heard a familiar laughter from behind me. A sweet laughter. I laughter I love so much.

Alex.

I turned around and saw him cracking up with Johnny McGill and James Stafford, two of the players from the Hawks, as they were walking in our direction. Alex looked over at me and smiled sweetly. I smiled back. I love his smile. It makes his dark brown eyes sparkle and his whole face light up.

"Ski?" I heard Adam ask. I snapped out of my trance and looked at him.

"Huh?" I asked. Adam started to laugh.

"You were doing it again." Adam laughed. I saw Anthony walk up to us a little, looking absolutely confused. I don't know if he was confused about the subject, or if he didn't hear Adam right.

"For what do you mean, Adam?" Anthony asked. Adam looked at him.

"Oh," Adam said, looking at me, then quickly back at Anthony.

Don't say a word, Adam. Don't say a wo-

"Ski has just had a huge crush on Alex and still does, but she's too chicken to go tell him."

"Am not!" I yelled. Adam looked at me with the expression of him being shocked on his face, like he did not expect me to say that.

"Yes you are. You're too chicken." Adam mocked. I felt my face becoming red.

"Oh, so you have the feelings for Alex?" Anthony asked with a little bit of a sad tone in his voice. Adam and I looked at him. I went to say something to him, but Adam beat me to it.

"Oh, yeah." Adam said. "I'm surprised he hasn't noticed. Maybe he did but won't say anything so he won't hurt your feelings when he goes and tells you that he has feelings for-" Adam stopped talking automatically. My face had no expression. I swallowed hard.

"Excuse me?" I snapped. Adam also swallowed hard.

"I said too much." Adam replied horsely. I shook my head.

"No, no," I said. I leaned back a little, crossing my arm across my front with a mad look, staring at Adam. "Finish." I snapped.

"Uh," Adam said in panic.

"No," I snapped again. "You are going to finish that freaking sentence now." I snapped once more.

"Fine!" Adam yelled. "So he won't hurt your feelings when he goes and tells you that he has feelings for Christina!"
