Adam

"Ready Adam?!" I heard Tammy ask. I nodded. We have been passing eggs for about fifteen minutes and she already broke about thirteen eggs. She got her new egg on the ice by her stick.

Here we go again.

She lifted her stick, and shot the egg. It broke, once again. I rolled my eyes and stood up straight. She sighed. "Aw man. I wish I was as good as you." She sighed in a flirty way.

I know she likes me. I just don't like her. I like Courtney. That's all, well, maybe this girl on our team, Connie. She's pretty. Not as much as Courtney, but she still is pretty.

"Okay guys, come over!" I heard Coach Bombay yell. I skated away from Tammy and to Coach. "Okay. Game tomorrow. We are playing the Cardinals. They're tough, but I believe you guys and do it." We all started to cheer.

"Now, go home, get some rest. And come early to practice!" He yelled. We all started to cheer again. We all skated off the ice.

I was sitting on the couch. Bored out of my mind. I was watching the North Stars game on TV. All of a sudden, I saw Ski rush into the room.

"Hey Adam, who's winning?" She asked. I looked up at the score.

"Penguins, of course. They always cheat!" I yelled while I was still staring at the TV.

"You know Courtney's favorite team is the Penguins, right?" Ski asked. I played it off even though I never knew.

"Of course! You think I don't know." I said nervously. Ski let out a little laugh.

"Yeah, you're stupid. Her favorite team is the Nashville Predators." Ski said. I tried to say something, but nothing came out. She started to laugh. "Anyway, my friends are coming over too so don't be that stupid around them."

"Wait, Courtney too?" I asked.

"Yeah of course." She said. I tried to get up from the couch really fast, but I fell right on my face. Ski started to laugh.

"Can't believe you're a hockey player with that balance." Ski stated. I looked up at Ski while still on the ground.

"Can't believe you're not a princess with that attitude." I said with a smirk. She stuck out her tongue, then walked into her bedroom.
