Asahi's POV

so today i planned to go to Mizuki's house. to tell her about the truth. the sentence that mum said to me kept on repeating in my mind

it is all because of her father

im the one who hit mizuki with a car

because of me she got into an accident

im ashamed of her. and what happened between her and uncle? do they know each other? while busy thinking about that i didn't realised there's a hand on my shoulder. "Asahi what are you doing here?" a familiar female voice said to me

i turn around to see who she was and it was Mizuki's mother. "ah hai mum, actually I'm on my way to your house." i said to her. she nodded and we both continue walking to her house. "what's the matter? anything happen? it there's any problem? between you and my mizuki?" she asked

"well its about my mother, mum." i said then i put my hand on my neck and faking my smile to her. "oh, her. so what is it? tell me Asahi." she asked me "hm actually i wanna know what happen in your past... with her i mean. and also uncle" i asked her back and she look away from my direction.

"w-well, me, uncle and your mother were friends in college. in our case, its like love triangle. your mother liked uncle but uncle liked me." she finally answered me and she looked at me with a guilty look. "ahhh" i replied her in short.

"well lemme help you with this mum"
i said as i take grocery bag from her hand. "ah thank you Asahi" she said as we both continues to walk. "then how did my mother met my dad? do you know about it?" i asked her but she remained silent.

"actually your parents had an arrange marriage. your grandparents wanted them to get married." she said to me "your father loves your mother but... your mother is madly in love with uncle." she continued

"ahh poor dad, no wonder he's letting my mum go and move to korea. he's heartbroken all this time" i told her and she was a bit shock "oh they're already divorced? i didn't know about that, im sorry" she said in a lower tone

"ah its okay. actually the things i wanted to tell you is-" i wanted to continue but then I saw mizuki and my mother in front of Mizuki's house. i saw my mother pulling her hair then she throw her to the ground. and there's a truck coming from different direction.

"MICHAN!!" i shouted as i dropped the grocery bag, mum and I ran to her. but it was too late because she was hit by a truck. my mum stood there in satisfaction. then she smirked at me

"this will happen if you disobeyed me" she said to me. i didnt care about what she said. the blood was spreading on the road, and the truck that hit mizuki earlier is gone. its just mizuki laying on the ground.

i pulled her close to me and i cupped her face. "michan stay with me please. please dont leave me again." i said while bawling my eyes out.. her eyes were barely open. she tried to say something but there's no voice coming out.

her mother was in front of me crying so hard. "m-mizuki please don't leave me. please dont leave me. I almost lost you before and i dont wanna lose you again please" as she said while crying, then she slowly got up and faced my mum.

"why can't you move on? why are you dragging the kids with our problem?" mama said angry tone "because of your daughter, my son hated me!!" my mum shouted at mama. then i saw my sister running towards me.

"Asahi, mum plan it all. i just know about this when i saw a note mum put on the table. im sorry i should've went here faster." she said while patting my shoulder. i couldn't say anything my eyes were just facing to Mizuki's face.

"call the cops and ambulance" i told her and she immediately do it. "michan please stay with me please. I'm begging please stay with me." i told her then i bring her face closer to mine. hugging her tightly.

then she hold my cheek with her hand. "dont worry, I'll stay... i love you hikun" she said in a weak tone. then she kiss my nose and give me a weak smile. i hold her in my embrace and stroking her hair softly. when she's in my embrace i feel like the time has stop. everything around us kind of stopped, it was like only us in the world.

i just realised that my mum and mama kept on bickering with each other. i looked at my sister giving her a signal to stop both of them. my sister got up "mum stop it you're too old for this" she said which sounds funny to me. then both of them stop bickering.

"sorry mum but I'm gonna have to put you in prison" i said to her as my eyes is still on mizuki, who's still unconscious. "because of her you put me in jail?!?" she asked with her anger holding back "yes, because you have attempt to kill her, not once but twice. 10 years ago and now. you can't run, mum" as i said to her

then the cops and the ambulance have finally arrived. the paramedics ran to mizuki with stretcher and the equipment they need to assess mizuki. "miss, miss. hello are you there??" one of the paramedic said to mizuki as she taps Mizuki's shoulder. she waited for mizuki to answer her. "y-yeah i-im here" mizuki replied to her in a weak tone.

"okay, are you hurt? if so, where's the part that's injured? tell me" she asked again. and then mizuki slowly moved her hand pointing her leg "i think my leg is dislocated. i can't feel my leg" Mizuki said to her. she nodded and immediately check Mizuki's leg. "which part?" she asked mizuki while taking her equipment from her medication bag.

she took scissors to cut Mizuki's pants. and there was a big wound on her leg, the paramedics took a bandage and
wrap it around her wounds. and then she called another paramedic to help her. "yuri bring me padded boards and rigid splints. her leg is broken and it need to be splintered. and help me check her pulse." then yuri took the equipments that she ordered from the ambulance then bring it to her.

"sir can you move aside?" yuri asked me while im still holding her. "ah okay" i said while moving aside. yuri handed the equipments to the paramedic that's treating the wounds on Mizuki's leg. i turned around and saw that my mum's hand were handcuffed by the cops. and the cops took her into the police car and shut the door.

and then one of the cops asked me "are you her son? if yes, can you come to the police station with us?" i didn't answer him instead i look at mizuki being assessed by the paramedics. "its okay sir I'll follow you to the police station." my sister said to the cops while tapping my shoulder. "you can go with her to the hospital. she needs you" my sister told me then she kiss my cheek. "i know you're strong, my brother. now go to her and stay by her side."

"yes i will. thank you" i said then i pulled my sister close to give her a hug. "your welcome. dont cry okay" she said as she pull away and she follow the cops to the police station. then i looked at mum, she cried so hard. i went closer to her then i put my hand on her shoulder. trying to comfort her. "its okay mum. its okay. mizuki is a strong girl. im sure she'll survived."

"okay now let's put her on this stretcher." the paramedics said to her team after they're done assessing mizuki. "okay in the count of 3, 2, 1! now!" she said as they put mizuki on that stretcher. "ma'am, you can come with us and sit in the ambulance" the other paramedic said to mama. only one person is allowed to accompany the patient in the ambulance. so now i need to go to the hospital by myself.
