Chapter 16: Sonny Pt.2

*Tris Pov*

"Sonny!" Me, Caleb and Josh Shout getting up to hug our long time best friend.

Sonny Martignetti is my first best friend. We bet in the Bronx. We had just moved there and he was our neighbor at the apartments. His father had passed from being in the M.O.B. His mother got with this drug dealer and got on drugs, real heavy drugs. She is so gone it's not even funny.

So, While his mom was upstairs in the bathroom doing drugs, Mom was making dinner for he, his mother and us while pregnant with Josh and talking to dad through the jail phone. Me and Sonny were downstairs talking and playing.

So me and Sonny go way back.

"Guys this is-"I start and he cuts me off.

"Sonny Martignetti. Pleased to meet you all" He says

"wow. I couldn't almost under stand you.........HI IM URIAH!" Uriah says and jumps up giving Sonny a bro hug.

"I'm Zeke. Uriah's older brother" Zeke says as he shakes his hand.

"Shauna. Zeke's girlfriend"

"Marlene, Sadly Uriah's girlfriend"

"HEY!!"

"I'm Christina" Christina says standing up to greet Sonny as soon as I plop down on beanbag.

"Will." Will says with a warm smile shaking his hand. "Christina's boyfriend"

"Sup, I'm Lynn."

"Al. Nice to meet you Sonny"

"Nice to meet you too"

"Four" Four says almost glaring at Sonny and I smile and sink more into the beanbag that is already consuming my body.

"Hey. I'm Josh pleased to meet you" Josh greets him and Sonny laughs.

"I already know you"

"I didn't know he knew manners"Christina says and Josh turns around bucking at Chris who bucks back.

Mom and Dad go into the kitchen and Sonny plops down beside me.

"Dinner is done!" Hana- Zeke's and Uriah's mom shouts.

We get up and grab plates getting some of the food that each person brought and mom cooked.

There is Italian styled sandwiches and meatballs, Vegetables, Spinach Dip, Pasta, A Cheese and Crack tray, and a fruit Tray with yogurt dip.

For dessert Tiramisu, Dauntless Cake, and Ice Cream.

I get exactly 2 meatballs, a small spoonful of pasta, a very small amount of dip, a lot of vegetables, 3 crackers with a different cheese for each cracker and a butt load of strawberries and pineapples.

I fill my glass up with Ginger ale because I get heartburn from anything.

I am the first done since 1. I hardly have anything and 2.I cut the line.

I sit down and start to devour my food. Christina is next to come out. I might I add she comes out squealing.

"Oh my goodness. Tris! Sonny is so freaking sweet and hot as a bit-" Christina stops talking when Sonny walks back out.

"So, Sonny are you still living in New York?" I ask and he nods his head.

"Yep, Still in the Bronx" he says. We were 4 when we met. It has been 12 years since we seen each other.

"How's your mom?" I ask quietly furrowing my eyebrows.

"Don't even get me started, but to sum it up. She is in rehab. But with her being separated from her drugs - and source of drugs, She is a little loony" he says and I nod my head.

"Alright let's pick a movie!" Dad says.

"If we pick a movie we have to be quiet" Shauna gives her dad-Mark a look. Yes! When our parents get together they just can not seem to stop talking.

"Okay. Ooh! How about John Wick?"

"No"

"Alex Cross?"

"Maze Runner?"

"Yeah!"

So we decide to watch the Maze Runner.

During the middle of the movie. Me and Sonny start to snuggle up together. I really missed him. I see Four tense up in the corner of my eye. Hah! In words of James Brown.

This is the big payback.

(Don't worry guys she and Sonny are not going to go out)

All the times I had to see Him and Cara make out 😒. <- that is how I felt and feel now.

He wraps his arms around me and his hand accidentally brushes against my stomach and I tense up. His eyes widen and I look up at him with tears starting to fill up in my eyes.

Ugh. I really hate hormones. The lights are off so everyone can't really see us.

"Um. Can we talk later?" I ask and he nods his head still shocked.

Well. There goes my dignity.

"Alright. You can't tell anyone. Or I swear. Sonny Adriano Martignetti the third I will murder you" I say as me and Sonny sit on my bed. He is staying for the next week and we are sharing a room.

Yep, My dad trusts him. He freaking loves Sonny to death. Even if we did do something dad would just make sure that he does not leave me, break my heart, of mistreat me. Four on the other hand. Not so much. He would kill him. Too late for that.

"Okay" he says and looks a little scared.

I lift my hoody up a little bit and I show him my huge stomach. He gasps and puts his hand on my belly and the baby kicks. She feels her uncle Sonny. Wow, Caleb and Josh are going to be uncles.

"Wow" he gasps "Who's the father?" He asks as I pull down my hoody.

"Four" I say

"Is that why he was glaring at me?" He asks and I nod tears running down my face and he wipes them away pulling me close to him.

"Have you told anyone?" He asks

"Christina, One of my teachers, The baby's doctor and only you know" I say and he nods patting my hair and kisses my forehead.

I lean up and kiss him. We both sit there shocked and I pull away.

"I'm so sorry just forget I did that" I say

"It's okay" he says and I continue hugging him.

We sit in my room the lights dimmed, it's raining outside, I'm wrapped in his arms silently crying and it's just quiet.

After a few moments I speak up.

"Do you want to see something?" I ask him.

"Sure" he says. I get off the bed and go to my desk and look in the drawers and grab the ultrasound pictures.

I hand them to him and he stares at them with a loving smile on his face.

"It's a girl" I say

"Wow. I'm going to be an uncle.

Hey guys. My computer is broke and I don't know when I will be able to get it fixed. So I am doing all my chapters on my iPod until further noticed. The only reason this is longer is because I started writing this at like 7 in the morning while I waited for my bus to arrive so I might start doing that. Anyways sorry and I love you guys.
