Chapter 47: Exams

Exams are the worst thing ever created.

It's the time where you have to think about all the things you've learned while your parents gloat in your face about not having to take them while they were going to school.

I have been looking into colleges the same time I have been looking into houses. I found a beautiful house with a four bedroom, 3.5 bath, pool, garage, and patio.

With me working two jobs and Tobias working we have enough money but may need a one-hundred loan or two.

Brooke is getting so big, she is about to turn one in a few weeks. She is walking and working on pronunciation.

She is definitely getting a personality, saying no to Rocky and Peaches it's just so adorable.

I get out of bed earlier than usual this morning. I need to start this day off right because today is my last day for exams.

It's Math. After the exams if the gang all ends at a decent time we are going to get some coffee at Starbucks then part our ways and Tobias, my parents, and I will look into buying the house this afternoon.

After I take a shower I put on high waist ripped jeans, a tight dark purple and black top that stops right above my belly button showing my belly ring.

I put on a bomber jacket and a pair of black chucks.

I curl my hair and put on some black jewelry and a silver chicken. I finish the daunting look with black eyeliner, mascara, and dark purple lipstick.

Even though it's summer its not that hot here, yet.

I grab my small necessities and I go downstairs, mom must have got Brooke this morning.

I see them eating breakfast while flipping through a book.

"Mommy!" Brooke squeals and I smile dropping my bag scooping my daughter out of my mothers arms and I hold her close to my chest hugging her.

"Are you excited to look at the houses today?" Mom asks sipping her coffee as I eat some eggs, bacon and fruit. Sadly no sausage or pancakes.

"Yeah," I answer once I finish swallowing my food. "I mean, I finally get a house you know. More space I can like study at the dining room table for college without Josh spilling food all over it." I say and mom laughs.

"So, how are things with Four?" Mom asks as I push away Brooke's chubby fingers away from my plate but I give her some strawberries.

"Okay, I guess we are both stressed out from testing, college, and working." I say

Mom knows Tobias' name but she calls him Four because that's what he wants to be called but Tobias always tells her that she can call him Tobias.

I mean he's going to be around for a while, he better.

After finishing my test and going to get coffee I go straight home with Tobias behind me.

"Daddy!" Brooke squeals so loudly we might go death, between hanging out with Christina and teaching Brooke how to talking they are both going to make me death.

"Brooke!" Tobias shouts with just as much enthusiasm that she giggles and he picks her up and she starts blabbering away.

"Well, lets go then." Dad says with a chuckle and we go to Tobias' car where we set up the car seat and then strap her in.

We follow dad to the house where we see the landlord standing there in a nice suit holding a briefcase.

"Hello," he says shaking all of our hands and then high hives Brooke who is on Tobias hip. "I am Daniel Jones, I will be giving you a tour of the house. Now if you don't mind me asking who is living here?" He asks and Tobias and I raise our hands Brooke follows copying us.

"Alright, let's go."

So far this house is everything I dreamed of. It has a nice yard and backyard perfect for barbecues and family events, Tobias and I will have our own room with bathroom.

Brooke will have her own room with two extra rooms and there is a hallway bathroom with shower upstairs and half bath downstairs.

The kitchen is a nice size and up to date appliances, the living room is big with connected library/ study room. There is a two door garage and patio.

Also a pool in the backyard with shed and a walk in closet in my room and a few regular ones.

It's really beautiful.

"Alright that was the tour, now the down payment is 3,464 dollars but of course me being a nice person I will bump it down to 3,101" Daniel says making mom let out a breath of relief.

"Now the rent would be 258.5 Of course each month, with the water bill, electrical bill, car notes, and anything else." he says.

"That's not so bad," Tobias says and I nod and look to my parents and they shrug as to say it's your choice.

I smile brightly and look at Tobias who nods.

"We'll take it."

If you aren't reading my other Divergent Fanfictions I will tell you now, my computer was taken back to my school.

My mom is supposed to be getting me a laptop, Jordan's, a debt card, lolawolf album, mortal Combat X and a whole bunch of other stuff too at the end of the month for good grades.

Anyways, hope you liked this chapter and the next one is going to be a picture of the house.
