Chapter 41: Car Ride

I apologize so much guys my computer is still broken but tomorrow is my birthday and my parents got me a tablet thanks mom and dad! I think I might get a laptop too. Idk yet but I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow continuing with the very short chapter.

*Tris POV*

Brooke cries loudly as she sits on my bedroom floor in nothing but a diaper and socks. She is refusing to get dressed and she is mad at me because I had to discipline her. I told her that she can't get on her leap-pad until she gets dressed.

Peaches is in the corner looking annoyed and Rocky is right beside her as well.

I sigh and towel dry my hair and slide on a pair of denim skinny jeans. I put on a black tank top and some black socks with designs on them.

"The more you cry the longer it takes you to get dressed. Then you can play." I say and she shakes her head no and I shrug and place her clothes on the bed and I finish packing for the both of us.

Today we are leaving for New York which is kinda a long ride. Everyone is meeting here first then we leave together.

Tobias walks through the door and looks at Brooke then me.

"She wanted to play with her toys but I told her to get dressed first but she didn't listen and now she's angry." I say over her crying and Tobias leans down to pick her up and she starts to kind of quiet down.

I shake my head as Tobias rocks her and I go into the bathroom and I comb through my naturally wet and wavy kind of shoulder length hair.

I blow dry it then press it while parting it in the middle my hair is definitely getting longer.

I put on a bit of mascara, eyeliner, and nude lip gloss. I see Tobias in the bed with Brooke laying on him fully dressed and eating candy while they look through his phone together.

"Tobias! No candy especially after the way she just acted" I say and he gives a sheepish grin and just continues like he didn't hear me.

I put on some Jordan's, a jean jacket with wool on the inside since its freezing outside and I put on some pearls. I go downstairs with the bags and Peaches and Rocky right behind me.

"Mom who's going to watch Peaches and Rocky?" Josh asks as mom packs up some snacks and I place the bags at the front door.

I go into the kitchen again and start packing Brooke some snacks.

"Susan our neighbor and Caleb's Woman Crush is going to watch them." Mom says as I just realized Caleb who was sitting at the island table blushing the whole time.

I laugh out loud as Josh leaves with the pets before we say goodbye.

The gang soon arrives hype and ready.

"Alright guys here is the plan we are taking the really big SUV and only stopping when nessacary okay?" Dad says as we sit on the couch.

"Yes Sir" we all say except Brooke who just mumbles something still on her dads phone.

We start to pack up the car and the seating arrangement ends up Tobias way in the back on the passenger side, me in the middle of him and Christina. Will, Zeke, and Shauna take the middle row. Uriah, Marlene, Josh, and Caleb take the first row but its still in the back since we kids have our own privacy.

Brooke is in my lap on her leap frog and dad takes off. This is going to be a long journey.
