Chapter 8: Protection

*Tris Pov*

"Oh my goodnes Tris you look hot!" Christina squeals when I turn around in a full circle showing Christina my outfit. I decided to pick out my own outfit; black leggings, a black sleeveless lace pepulm top with black heels, I put my hair into waves going down in galaxy colors all the way down my shoulders, Christina did my make up eyeliner, blush, pink lipstick and mascara with a light smokey eye.

I am meeting Four at this fancy resturant and it is not big like meduim size. I slip on my leather jacket and grab my car keys, purse and phone. I can't wait to go out to this date.

*Four Pov*

I am sitting down at the table in this fancy resturant called 'AMOUR'. It is very nice. Popular so I am a little stunned I got reservations. We are in the back by this window that has a very beautiful view of the city. I am looking over the menu and I see a whole bunch of fancy expensive stuff but luckily I have enough money saved up to buy alot of stuff here. There is a white table cloth draped over the table with china plates and silver silverwear with wine glasses and a red candle in the middle giving the room a dim lit kind of feeling and red napkins. 

"Hello Sir are you ready to order?" A young man asks me and I shake my head no. 

"I am still waiting for someone" 

He nods his head and walks away. I just sit there staring out of the window drinking my water and soon I hear the clicking of heels and then it stops hitting the red plush carpet. I look up and see Tris. She looks so beautiful like always. I don't know why I ever was mean to her. She has such a great personality it amazes me everyday how much I love her more and more. 

"Hi" She smiles and sits down in front of me. I get a good whiff of what she always smells like; vanilla.

"Hi" I smile back I lean over the table and give her a quick chaste kiss. 

"How are you?" I ask 

"Good..sorry for being late Josh was being a pain in the butt and so was Christina" She laughs a little and I laugh too...That sounds like them. 

"How about you?"

"Well. I have been thinking about you all day" I say 

"Diddo"

"You know this resturant has everything. Steak, Lobster, Escargot-" I start and she cuts me off wrinkling her nose. It's so cute I fight the urge to kiss it away. 

"Ew isn't that snails or something" She says 

"Girl, What you know about Escargot" I joke. 

"I did get an A in French Honey" She proves. 

Tris is very serious about her work. She may sass the teachers when they do a problem wrong and try to prove it right or piss her off but she does not play when it comes to school work. She has straight A's and it's going into the second marking period. 

"Right" I laugh. 

I reach across the table and grab her hand and she smiles and a blush appears over her face. 

"Tell me something in french then" I test her and she starts speaking the exotic language ending with the only phrase I do know. "Plus tard ce soir" which means "Later tonight"

"What's going to happen later tonight?" I ask with a slight smirk. 

"I guess you would have to wait and find out" She smirks setting down her glasses that has a pink lip stain on it.
