Chapter 49: Moving

*Tris Pov*

I am sitting cris-crossed on the floor packing things up to move into the house.

Graduation was amazing. Zeke and Uriah acted like complete idiots at the graduation and the dinner afterwards.

Now it's summer vacation, time to look for colleges and move into our house.

"Mama!" Brooke squeals plopping down beside me, she thinks she's helping me pack but she is finding toys and playing with them and hands me then when she's bored.

"Hi baby," I say packing up some clothes from her drawers. Tomorrow is the moving day, so that's why I am finishing packing today.

"What you..." She stutters placing her hands on a box.

"I'm packing, you are going with mommy and daddy. We're moving" I say closing the box.

"Moobing??" She asks.

"Moobing." I say, "Maybe moobing can be our always." I say and she stares at me with straight confusion.

"Fault in our Stars." I say and she walks away screaming "GWANDPA!!"

"Hey babe." Tobias says walking into my bedroom leaning down to kiss me.

"Hey," I say "Whats up?" I ask

"Nothing, I brought the truck here to pack up and the gang is at the house finishing up the painting. It should be dried tomorrow morning." He says plopping down on my bed and I lay beside him kissing him on the lips.

This reminds me of the time when Tobias 'Taught me how to kiss'

I think that he just wanted a reason to kiss me. At the same time, when he and I were not to fond with each other, it was amazing but repulsive at the same time.

I break away from our long kiss and place my head on his shoulder.

"I can't believe we're getting a house." I say as Tobias places his hands in my back pockets.

"I know it's all so unreal it's like our future but, in present time."

I nod my head and and after a while we start to pack up the car.

"It's going to be so weird without you here," Mom says

"Exactly, no one to pick on." Josh says and I roll my eyes.

"Shut up" I say

"Well, I'm going to miss you Brooke." Dad says.

"Bye-Bye!"Brooke giggles.

"We only live like 25 minutes away." I say and Mom laughs with tears in her eyes and Caleb and I sigh.

Mom cries over anything.

"My baby girl is growing up." Mom says and I give her a hug.

"Alright mom, it had to happen eventually. I'll visit tomorrow love you guys" I say giving everyone a hug.

"This looks amazing." I tell the gang.

The living room walls are tan accented with burgundy and cream following the hallway, the bathrooms are gray with accented white along with the kitchen. But that bathroom wall is baby blue instead of gray.

Tobias and I bed and bath is dark blue and white. Everything is up to date and looks amazing.

Brooke's room is pink and mahogany wood, the office upstairs is green and brown but like a calming, green tea color.

The library/ study room is dark brown and dark caramel.

All we need is the furniture.

We start to unload the truck placing the boxes in the designated rooms and then we order a box of pizza.

"Tris," Christina gasps "We need to go shopping!"

"Why?" I say, it's just her and I in the hallway bathroom placing the things in there. Everyone is in a room placing things away even my parents and brothers stopped by.

I know for sure that we aren't going to get this done all today.

We don't even have half of the boxes done.

We are still waiting for some of the paint to dry.

"Tris, I think she's sleepy. She's not laughing at any of my jokes anymore." Uriah says with Brooke in his arms rubbing her eyes.

"Where is Four?" I ask hoping she is going to go there first because I'm busy right now.

"Working on the lights with the guys, he's busy." He says and I nod sighing.

"Maybe she just figured out that you aren't funny." Christina says with a chuckle and Uriah sucks his teeth.

"But, you the main one laughing at me." he says

"Because your an idiot." she says

Sometimes I think, if Will didn't have Chris and Uriah didn't have Mar, Uriah and Chris would be dating.

I just hope that doesn't happen, yeah I want to see my friends happy but I don't think I could handle the drama.

I take Brooke out of his arms and she places her head on my shoulder and Uriah leaves the room.

"Anyways, because your going to be in a house without adult supervision-"

"With a child." I add rocking my baby to sleep.

"Anyways." Chris brushes me off "But, you will have adult time at night and when your parents babysit. So you need lingerie and all that stuff." She squeals but then shuts her mouth when she realizes that Brooke is asleep.

"Chris, I'm not doing that." I say walking out the room.

I tug on Tobias leg as he finishes up a light with the guys.

"Hm?" He asks climbing down.

"Is the crib ready?" I ask

"No, not until tomorrow. I got to finish the lights and move the rest of the furniture off." Tobias says and I nod.

I set up an air blown mattress and put Brooke into pajamas. I eat some pizza with the gang while finishing up the rest of setting up.

I hope this doesn't take long.
