Chapter 56: Desicions Pt.2

*Tris Pov*

Once mom finishes in the kitchen she brings out trays of food and the boys instantly jump up helping her out placing the delicious food on the coffee table once all of the things on top of it was placed somewhere else.

"Alright guys, dig in. I hope you enjoy." Mom says with pure happiness in her voice as we all start to fight over the plates.

"No, I was in front of you move!" Uriah says snatching the plate from Josh's hands and he snatches it back from his tight grasp licking the whole plate making Uriah cringe and get another place.

"Come on let's go sneak you your food." I whisper in Brooke's ear and we stand up no one noticing our departure from the seat.

I silently grab two plates while everyone is arguing and I make both of our plates and get drinks.

We sit back down on the black and teal beanbag and we start to eat watching our friends pick over which sandwich is there's.

"Hey!" Christina shouts once she gets hers and sits back down glaring at me and I can't do anything but to just laugh.

"Alright, geez, tell us the news already." Mom claps her hands rapidly while having a contagious grin on her face.

"Okay, well. I got a job offer-" Tobias starts.

"Lame!" Uriah shouts.

"Oh it won't be lame for long." Tobias says in his Four voice making Uriah cower back.

"Anyways, before I was rudely interrupted. I got a job offer from the NFL I can either choose from the Cowboys, Cubs, and Ravens." Tobias says and his phone buzzes and he looks down.

"And Patriots."

Everyone cheers and stares at him with shock.

"Well, which one?" Caleb says patting him on his shoulder.

"I don't know that's why we're here. We need your help." Tobias says looking around at our family.

"Well not the patriots because if you have to play in your home arena then you have to go all the way across the Alantic." Dad says.

"Okay then, no patriots." Zeke says and then crosses something out on a sheet of paper that he just got when no one noticed.

"Not the Cubs because I'm sure you would not like to always play in your home state sometimes." Christina says.

"It's so hard between the Cowboys and Ravens." Will says and we agree.

"I know how to settle this." I say and I look at Brooke who is playing with her leap frog since she's finished with her food.

"Brooke?" I ask and she looks up to us and smiles.

"Which one?" I ask while laughing. "Cowboys or Ravens?"

She ponders for a minute and I know she doesn't know what we're talking about but she will say something she likes.

"Waybens!" She shouts and we cheer.

"Ravens it is then." Tobias laughs typing something in his phone.

"Congratulations!" We all shout and I kiss his cheek.

We all celebrate for a while and then consume Dauntless Cake that mom took upon herself to try to make and it turned out great.

"Alright guys, we should be heading out soon." I say holding Brooke in my arms who's asleep right now.

"Alright sweetie, love you." Mom says standing up giving me a hug followed by dad. Mom gives me another hug.

"Don't forget what I told you. Don't forget to check." Mom says whispering in my ear and I blush.
