-A Couple of Months Later-
Brooke cries loudly as I bathe her in my bedroom. I fill the bowl up and pour it on her and she cries loudly.
Brooke is now 6 months old and is very sassy. She can sit up on her own and tries to talk a lot basically cooing. Making up her own words.
"You are such a big girl." I coo and she cries louder placing her finger in her mouth where small little teeth are coming in, barely. I rub the shampoo in her hair and then rinse it out.
"What's wrong?" I ask her as she pouts and stares at me with tears falling out of her eyes. I drain the water out of the tub and she screams and starts crying. I grab the towel and wrap her in it. She places her head on my shoulder and I lay her on my bed.
She squirms and I start to rub baby lotion on her.
"See, all that for nothing." I say as I place a diaper on her and she quiets down with her fist in her mouth. I put her in a long sleeve onesie with some socks. I pick her up and my book bag and I go downstairs. She places her head on my shoulder and I sit on the couch cutting on the side lamp.
I pull out my notes and start to look over them. I. am. So. Tired.
Brooke is just sitting in my arms staring at the television since I put on Little Bill and now Max and Ruby is on.
She loves the sounds and moving pictures.
"Hey." Mom says plopping down beside me.
"Hey." I reply sitting back up hoping she didn't realize that I was dosing off.
"Test tomorrow?" She asks taking the notes out of my hand.
"Yeah." I reply yawning.
"Science." She says and I nod.
"What does Newton's 2nd law state?" She asks
"The second law states that the acceleration of an object is dependent upon two variables - the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object." I say and she nods and moves on.
She opens her mouth to say something but Brooke's rooting and cooing makes her stop.
"She's hungry. That's why she isn't sleep yet." Mom says and I close my eyes almost falling asleep while I rock her.
"How do you know?" I ask
"I have had three kids" She says giving me a look. "But, you see how she is sucking on her fist." Mom says and I look down and see her staring at the television with her hand in her mouth.
"But, she's not crying." I say
"She doesn't necessarily need to cry all the time when she is hungry. Small signs like this would tell you, you know when you are hungry but is too lazy to get up or not really hungry. That is what's wrong with her. I guarantee you that once you feed and burp her she would be out like a light.
"I'll be right back." I say as I go upstairs and feed her. I burp her and she is sound asleep. I put her in her crib and I fall face first on my bed. Only 5 minutes.

Okay five minutes might have turned into the whole night. I didn't get back up. I only remember mom placing the covers on me kissing my forehead.
Today is Thursday sadly, we have school. But luckily a two freaking hour delay because of the freezing rain but it stopped so we still have to go. I'm surprised that we didn't just stay home. I really need a day for myself.
Today Christina is dressing me up because she really wants me to make Four jealous over top from what I already have too do. I have to 'help' Edward with some math today in the Library.
