*Tris Pov*
"Uh, what kind of diapers?" He asks
"Diapers." I say slowly furrowing my eyebrows.
"I'll call you when I get to the store." He says
"Alright, bye." I say
"Bye."
I hang up the phone and proceed to put Brooke's sleeping pants on. She coos with her finger in her mouth. I take it out and grab another wipe and wipe her fingers off. I reach on my nightstand and give her multicolored teething ring.
I get off the bed and put on a pair of joggers and a long sleeve polo shirt. I pull my hair into a messy bun and I walk into the bathroom and wipe of all my makeup which was not a lot.
I put on a pair of colorful fun socks and then I sit back on the bed and play with my daughter. I have no homework, turn up.
"Your daddy is coming over." I say and she coos and tries to grab the loose hair falling out my bun. I told you my hair grows back quick.
I trace her tiny face as she bites on the teething ring staring up at me with those same stormy blue eyes.

"Did you get lost?" I ask as Tobias calls like 20 minutes later.
"No, I was trying to find the diaper aisle." He says
"So basically you got lost."
"Yeah."
"Exactly."
"So what size do you need?"
"Four plus." I say
"Hahaha, that's my name." He says and I roll my eyes.
"Just get the diapers." I say with a smile on my face, he is so retarted. I miss him so.
Ugh get yourself together Tris.
Brooke is starting to fall asleep so I put her in the bassinette and set the rocking timer.
Soon she is asleep. Once she is straight there is a knocking at the door. I double check on Brooke and run downstairs and open the door.
"Hey." I say
"Hey." He says with 2 bags in his hand. He gives me a quick hug and I let him in and I shut the door.
We go upstairs and I make him sit on my bed.
"Thank you." I say as he hands me the diapers and I put them in Brooke's changing table drawer.
I take a deep breath.
"Would you like to hold her?" I ask and he straightens up and sits on attention.
"Uh-Sure." He stutters and I carefully pick up the sleeping Brooke and I hand him to her. He smiles brightly and she snuggles up to her dad.
"Is this what I have been missing for months?" He asks and I place my head on his shoulder.
Hell yeah DipS*it.
"Yeah"
We stare down at her peacefully as she sleeps and occasionally squirms in Tobias' arms.
"She looks just like you." I whisper and he nods his head. He slowly looks to me and leans in and I lean in at the same time and kiss, we still have those fireworks. He tilts his head making it deeper and I smile and pull away.
"For us to be broken up, we sure do kiss a lot." I say putting my forehead on his and he laughs a little vibrating my body.
"I know right." He say
"I miss you Tris." He says
"I miss you too Tobias." I say and he really smiles when I say his real name.
Tobias gently sets Brooke in the bassinette and gives me a giant bear hug.
"I missed you so much." He says against my forehead.
"I missed you too." I say with tears in my eyes.
"So, what have I missed during this angel's short life span?" Tobias mumbles against my forehead.
"Have a seat and I'll show you." I say and he sits down. I go into my closet and grab picture book, a thick picture book. Tobias takes off his shoes and we sit against the headboard of my bed.
I open it and show him all the pictures since she was born and tell him how long she was and how much she weighed. Then I flip through all her milestones and then show him some videos of her trying mushed food and giggling and smiling. Her first time holding her head up and sitting up.
I close the book and place it on my other nightstand.
"So." I whisper to Tobias as we cuddle on my bed. "Why exactly did you date Cara?" I ask
"Because I needed a distraction, I rarely payed any attention to her. We never even really kissed. Only around you because I needed to get my mind off of you." He says and I nod "So, are you and Edward like a thing?"
"Nope. Same reason as you and probably something else." I say and he nods kissing my forehead.
"Goodness, I missed you." He says and I get up and put Brooke in the middle of us. He kisses her forehead and then mine again.
"I am so happy that we are back together as a family." He says and it makes my heart flutter a bit.
He called us family, it feels so good to be back with him. Hopefully everything goes
back to normal. But this time,
He cares.
