Zachary knocked on the door but got no response so after waiting for a few minutes, he gently pushed it open. The curtains were drawn shut so the room was still bathed in darkness and much to his surprise Tim was sleeping soundly, his soft snores breaking the silence at regular intervals.

He knew Tim never went to sleep willingly so at first he got worried. Either he had tired himself out so much that he had collapsed or he had gotten sick.

Though Zach didn't have to worry longer as Aviana dropped by, gesturing him not to wake the boy up and dragged him out of the room.

"What did you do?" He asked her as he stepped out and closed the door.

"He was going crazy last night, probably hadn't slept for a week or two," Aviana replied, "so I offered to make him coffee but drugged him so that he would bugger off."

"Ava!"

She shoved him, "damn it Zachary, you're going to wake him up if you be so loud and all my efforts are going to go in vain."

"He's going to be furious when he wakes up," he was shaking his head as if troubled because he clearly recalled that one time Connor had told him about Tim going brutal on all the Waynes just because he had been drugged to sleep.

"If he wakes up. I made sure he would be passed out till dinner time. And then when he will wake up, Mom would invite him over for dinner and knowing how much he strives to be in our Mom's good books, he won't do anything."

Somehow Ava always thought ten steps ahead of him and it was clear even then she had carefully thought out all the pros and cons.

"But still..."

"Merry Christmas," she smiled brightly, taking him by surprise as she hugged him then dashed down the stairs.

Zach sighed, thinking of what to do next. Tim hated being forced to sleep and by making him sleep till dinner, Ava had risked the chances of everyone having a normal Christmas Eve. Because once Tim woke up chaos would definitely ensue.

Still he didn't want to be the one to wake him up right then and face his wrath so leaving the door to his room shut, he went downstairs as well to warn Morena of what to expect at dinner time.

"But he's my best friend and he's spending Christmas with Zach!"

Kara shook her head watching the Drama Clone get jealous of Ava's brother for the hundredth time that week, "you know what your problem is, Connor, you normally don't give a hoot who Tim is spending time with but get jealous immediately when he tries to make it seem as if he's having a good time. For all we know, Tim would have gone back to Gotham already and is only keeping up the act for his amusement."

Connor looked at her with a frown crossing his features, "am I something to be amused at?"

A smile threatened to break out on her face as she replied, "judging by how you're behaving right now like a two year old, very much so."

He was silent for a minute as if thinking of a comeback but spoke up instead, "though if you really think about it, technically I'm still under ten. I mean I may look nineteen but not more than ten years have passed since I was created."

"Explains your hyper emotions and volatile personality. You really are no better than a ten year old," she remarked, watching his expression change in a flash.

"Kara, that's not what I meant!"

"You're the one who started it!"

However, their banter came to a halt as the door to Kara's room opened, revealing her elder sister Alex. "Hey, if you guys are done screaming down at each other, I had to tell you something."
