Chapter Twenty Six

I was shocked, but I had to get down to Kaleb. "Okay, we'll talk more when we get back. For now lets go down to Kaleb. Only if you're a good boy." I stated and Savage nodded. I turned and walked out of the room. We went down the stairs to Kaleb.

"Thank goodness, I thought it had eaten you." Kaleb joked with me. Savage growled and showed his teeth at Kaleb.

"Stop it the both of you. Kaleb this is my pet, Savage. He saved me yesterday when I was attacked by a werewolf. I have asked him to be nice and I expect you to do the same." I replied as I pet Savage's head. Kaleb bowed his head in respect and nodded.

"Of course, dear sister. For you I will do anything." Kaleb said. "Now I think I was promised a tour." I smiled and turned. Savage walked to my right and Kaleb stayed on my left.

'Something about him makes me upset.' Savage stated in my head. I looked back at him. I didnt know how to answer him. 'Just think what you want to say and I will hear it.'

'I think that you're overreacting.' I thought back to him.

'I don't know, his aura is just black.' I looked at him questionably. 'Where I come from aura is like the color of the soul and his is black. Black is the color that represents evil.' Savage explained to me and I nodded.

'You're reading his aura wrong.' I snapped and Savage looked taken aback. 'Sorry' Kaleb tapped my shoulder and I turned to him.

"Yes." I replied and he smiled at me.

"I heard you found out about not being my biological sister." Kaleb stated and I nodded. "Don't worry about it I still love you as if you were my biological sister. Juliet is the one I'm worried about."

"Why?" I asked.

"Well, she is jealous of you. Mom and Dad have spent so much time looking for you. They have neglected Juliet to the point she is upset with you." Kaleb explained and I looked down. "Don't worry about her though, she will learn to love as my parents and I love you."

"Thanks." I replied and forced a smile. He nodded and we walked around the castle all day. I showed him everything and soon it was time for him to leave. He kissed my cheek and hugged me.

"Mother and Father said they wanted an answer from you by the end of the week." Kaleb said and turned to leave. "You'll make the right decision. I'm sure of it." He smiled and left. Savage sat in front of me. He tilted his head and looked at me in the eyes.

"What?" I asked.

'You seem upset, are you okay?' He asked and I nodded. 'You shouldn't take the throne of the Fae.'

"Why not?" I asked and stared at him.

'Cause your father has already made plans for you.' He replied and I looked at him confused. 'I'm not allowed to say only he is, but I am allowed to say that he wants to see you soon.'

"Okay," I stated then I thought Savage hadn't had anything to eat or drink since I met him yesterday. "Are you hungry?" I asked and he nodded. "Why didn't you say something?"

'I didn't want to bother you.' He answered.

"Its not a bother, I took you in as my pet. If you get hungry or thirsty let me know." I said and he nodded again. I felt arms wrap around my waist. I laughed and turned to see Eric.

"Hello Love, who were you talking to?" He asked.

'Am I allowed to tell him?' I asked, in my head to Savage. Savage nodded and rubbed his head against my right leg.

"Well, I was talking to Savage we have a mind link. He can hear what I think and vice versa." I replied to Eric. He nodded and hesitantly went to pet Savage. Savage let him and Eric calmed down almost instantly.

"Kayla, I really like this dog." Eric stated and smiled at Savage.

'Tell him I like him too.' Savage said in my head.

'Then why were you growling at him?' I asked

'I was tired and everyone was hurting you that day. I was being protective.' Savage stated.

"Savage said he likes you too." I told Eric and Eric pet Savage's head again. "Oh God, I almost forgot. Savage is hungry." I turned and walked towards the kitchen. Savage and Eric followed me. I looked in the refrigerator. I saw a raw steak and held it up to Savage. He nodded in approval and walked over to me. I placed it on a plate and put it on the ground. I got a bowl and filled with water. I set it on the floor next to the plate. I turned to Eric.

"Eric can you have an announcement made that no one is to be frightened by Savage, also that no one is to harm him or they deal with me." I turned to Eric ad he nodded. He kissed my forehead and turned to leave. "Hurry back I would like to spend time with my mate before the day is over." I shouted after him. I heard him laugh and saw something moving towards Savage.

'Kayla, there is a young girl.' Savage said and I turned to see Abigail. She was walking closer to Savage. She tilted her head and put her hand out.

"Puppy?" She asked and Savage looked at me questionably. I nodded and he lowered his head so she could reach. She pet him and giggled. He licked her face and she threw her arms around his neck. "Can I play with him outside?" She questioned me.

'I'm fine with it of you are master.' Savage told me. I nodded and Abigail screamed in joy. Savage towered over her since he was so huge. He walked over to her and lowered himself. 'Tell her to get on my back.'

"Abigail, he wants you to get on his back." I explained to her. She smiled and got on his back. He walked out of the room with her on his back. I smiled and walked around. I got bored and walked upstairs. I was looking for Eric when I saw something on my bed. I walked over and it was a note.

'Don't accept the throne of the Fae, or you will die.'
