Chapter Fifty Four

Eric and I finished setting up the crib in the room right next to ours. He smiled at me as he started to paint the room green so it would be good for a girl or a boy. I started setting up the walker as I heard someone knock on the door. I looked up to see Anna and Jack. I jumped up and ran over to them. They hugged me as they laughed then when we pulled away they looked down at my stomach.

"Kayla, you look wonderful. Are you excited for tomorrow?" Anna asked and I nodded.

"We both are." Eric stated and wrapped his arms around me. I smiled at him and he kissed my cheek then got back to painting.

"I just can't believe its finally here. Our wedding is tomorrow." I replied and shook my head.

"Why that day of all days?" Jack asked.

"Well we were supposed to find out the gender of the baby so we wanted the wedding a day or two after." I explained as I walked to the crib.

"When are you two doing the gender party?" Anna questioned me.

"Next week, the cake will hopefully be done by then." I replied.

"Okay, well we will let you get back to work." Jack said and kissed my cheek. Anna hugged me and kissed my cheek as well. They walked out as I felt someone come up behind me. I immediately smiled and leaned into Eric as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"I can't believe tomorrow we will officially be husband and wife" He whispered in my ear and spun me around. He kissed me hard on the lips as he rested his hands on my hips. I smiled into the kiss as we just stood there. He sighed as he pulled away and looked at the clock. "Its almost time for us to go to sleep." He told me. When he said that it caused me to yawn. We walked over to our room then I got a shower. I was thinking about the next day as he went and got a shower. I looked up at the TV and turned it on. I was watching Doctor Who as Eric had come out of the bathroom. He got in the bed and kissed my cheek. He wrapped an arm around me as I rested my head on his chest. He then turned the TV off and we fell asleep. I woke up to find a note on the bed this is what it read.

~Good morning Love, I am so sorry to not be there when you wake up. But, you know the rules, The groom may not see the bride until the ceremony. Anyway I love you and I'll see you at the end of the isle.

I smiled then got out of the bed then heard a knock on the door. I opened it to find Willow, Amanda, and Lilli. They were jumping with excitement as they all crowded into my room.

"Come on we have a lot of work to do and very little time to do it." Willow stated. They pushed me into the bathroom and I sighed as I got a shower. I walked out as the were laying everything out. They first helped me get my dress on. It was a long white dress with a sweetheart neck line. It had a very long train. The good thing about this dress was that it stretched so it could fit around my big belly. They sat me down and made me put on a pair of flats, Eric didn't want me to fall. Then Willow and Lilli tag teamed on my makeup and Amanda did my hair. As Amanda was brushing my hair I heard her laugh.

"What's so funny?" I asked and she smiled at me in the mirror.

"Nothing, it just seems like yesterday I was trying to suck your blood in the mall." She laughed at the thought and so did I. Of course at the time she was trying to suck my blood i didn't know that vampires were real.

"Or that I beat Natalie up for messing with you." Lilli said. I laughed at that memory.

"Don't forget about your best friend." Willow stated. I laughed as I thought back to every first memory I had with each of them.

"I can't believe it either it seems just like yesterday I was in the orphanage and I had no idea who you guys were. Here we are almost nine months later." I replied. Tears were forming in all of our eyes. I fanned my face to keep them from falling. "Come on guys lets finish getting me ready for my wedding." They finished and I looked in the mirror. I smiled at my appearance then I waited for them to get ready and we headed out. We walked down and I saw my biological dad in a tuxedo standing at the bottom of the stairs. When I reached him he looped his arm around mine and smiled.

"Are you excited dear?" He asked and I nodded. "Well then lets get the show on the road." He shouted and I laughed. We walked towards two double doors as servants pulled them open. My breath caught in my throat as I made eye contact with Eric. He looked amazing as he stood there at the end of the aisle waiting for me to become his wife. My dad walked me up then handed me off to Eric as Eric locked eyes with me. We waited for the priest to start through the ceremony. Eric and I exchanged our vows and repeated the priest. Then it finally came.

"I now pronounce you Husband and Wife, You may kiss the bride." The priest announced and we looked at each other. We kissed each other as we forgot about everyone else. We pulled away as we still held eye contact. I knew we would be okay as the years come I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
