Adopted By Vampires

Chapter Fifty One

I looked at him confused. "I'm sorry I have no clue who that is, I just know you as my father." I stated as he looked me up and down.

"Kayla?" He asked in shock. "I knew you were coming I didn't think it would be this soon. I thought you were just someone else who wanted to sell their soul." He stated. He got up and walked around he was sort of short but only by a couple inches. He sat on his desk as he looked at my face. "You look so much like your mother." He whispered.

"What happened to her?" I asked. He sighed as he looked down.

"She was an angel, she was one that fell because we had fallen in love with each other. One day I was with what we call hunters," I looked at him confused. "They hunt supernatural beings. Anyway she came down because the two hunters had failed in protecting me and was fighting of a knight of Hell. She managed to chase the knight off, but she had been hurt. As I held her in my arms she told me about you, but you were already being raised by the Fae by the time I had found you. You were one and you were happy with them so I left you alone." He replied as a tear fell down his face. "Your mother was the only thing that had made me feel anything, but now that I have met my daughter I can finally feel something again." He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"I'm so happy to finally have a real parent that can explain to me what I am." I stated.

"Well judging by that story, what do you think you are?" He asked.

"Well, mom was an angel so I must be half angel. Then you're the King of Hell, but the Devil's name is Lucifer. So you're probably a very powerful demon." I replied as he smiled at me.

"Have you're eyes turned yet?" He questioned.

"My eyes have turned completely black, but I also had a red pupil and veins." I answered as I played with the
Ends of my jacket. Jacob, or I guess my dad now, looked up at the door.

"I sense a hell hound and a vampire outside the door." He stated.

"Well, the hell hound is of course yours. While the vampire is mine." I replied.

"You already have a pet? That is amazing!" He exclaimed as he clapped his hands once together.

"Actually he's my mate." I explained. Jacob looked at me confused. "My mate is the vampire outside, he isn't my pet."

"Then let me meet the young boy." My father said. I nodded and Jacob smiled. "Send the vampire in!" The doors opened and Eric walked in. He saw me as he walked towards me and Jacob and sat in a chair right next to me.

"So, you're my daughters mate?" Jacob asked. Eric nodded while he looked at me and smiled. I smiled back as I heard Jacob laugh. I looked at him then back at Eric. They shook hands and we began a very long talk about how I had gotten to this point.

About two hours later, we finally get to the part about how Eric and I are getting married and the fact that I'm pregnant. "Kayla, why don't you tell your dad the rest?" Eric suggested and I nodded. I knew how awkward it must have been for Eric to try to tell my dad about that.

"So, we have just a little bit more news for you." I stated. Jacob nodded at me to continue so I took a deep breath.

"Eric and I are getting married." I started to say.

"That's interesting, anything else you want to tell me?" He interrupted.

"Yeah, I'm uh," I started again, but became scared. Eric put a reassuring hand on my shoulder as Jacob gestured for me to go on. "I'm pregnant." Jacob looked between both me and Eric.

"That's interesting. Well, I would throw a party, but that would just get a whole lot of unwanted attention." Jacob stated as he walked back over to his desk and sat in his chair. "I know you have a home with Eric so I'm not going to even ask if you want to stay here. I just want you to visit every once in a while."

"Of course." I said as we got up. I walked over to the door as I heard my dad cough.

"Your mate isn't very safe here. You two should go home. I will visit you in a couple of weeks. Don't worry about coming to me." Jacob called to me as I opened the door.

"Okay, good bye Dad." I yelled as Eric and I walked to the car. Savage started to follow when he was called into his office. Savage transformed into his hell hound form and went into the office.

'Go Kayla. Its not safe for Eric here.' Savage told me through the mind link. I told Eric so we both got into the car and drove home. Him and I were talking about my father. We pulled into the driveway of the house and got out. I walked to the stairs and was about to go up, but Eric picked me up. He carried me to the bedroom and set me on the floor of the room. I got into comfortable clothes and got in the bed. Eric wrapped his arms around me so that I could feel better. I knew having this baby would be hard, but with Eric by my side I feel like anything is possible. I snuggled into his cheat and closed my eyes.I feel asleep with my face in the crook of Eric's neck and his face was in my hair. He was humming to me as we laid there and that helped me become more at ease. My slowly closed as I heard Eric start to snore.
