My mom dragged me into a room and threw a dress at me. "Here put this on." She stated. I put it on an it was a long sleeved green dress. It was a very pretty green and depending on the way the light hit it there were sparkles.
"Its beautiful." I gushed and ran my hands down the dress. "Thanks."
"I have been saving that dress especially for you." My mother replied and smiled at me. "Come on I'll do your hair and makeup."
After she had finished I smiled and hugged her. She handed me green high heels that were sparkly. I put them on and then she got ready. We walked down the stairs and Eric stood there in a tuxedo. He saw me and smiled.
"You look beautiful." He whispered in my ear and I blushed. I kissed his cheek and he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Lets go." My mother shouted gleefully. My father put and around her shoulders to get her to calm down. I smiled at them and was happy that I had met my real parents. Even if I had thought the ones who had died were my real parents. I loved them in a way still, but I'm happy I have found my true family. A butler opened the door and we all walked through it. Everyone's eyes were on us and they looked at me with awe. They all bowed and I looked at them weird. Eric nudged me and I fixed my face. I bowed back and smiled at them. Everyone went back to what they were doing.
"Do you want to dance?" Eric asked and I nodded. He lead me out to the floor. We danced for about thirty minutes when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw my dad. He smiled at Eric and bowed his head. Eric understood and let me go. My father took Eric's place and we started to dance. He twirled me every once in a while. I could have honestly said I had a wonderful time.
"So, are you enjoying your time here so far?" My father asked. I nodded and smiled at him.
"Its amazing here, I will love it so much when I come to visit." I replied and he smiled back at me.
"That makes me happy to hear. You don't know how long I've been waiting to meet you and get to know you. I want you to know if you need anything at all don't hesitate to ask me or your mother." He stated and I nodded. We looked up at Kaleb walked over to us, our dad smiled back at him.
"Father, I would like to have a dance with my sister." Kaleb said and Father nodded.
"Of course, as long as its okay with her and Eric." Father replied and Kaleb smiled.
"I already asked Eric and he told me to go ahead." Kaleb stated and My dad sighed. He kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear.
"Before the party is over your mother and I wish to speak with you." He whispered and I nodded. He pulled away and smiled. Kaleb took his place and we danced. Kaleb was not good like me, but we laughed at each other and had fun either way.
"So dear sister of mine, do you plan on moving in with us?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Sorry, I have to stay with my mate. He needs me and I need him." I answered and Kaleb nodded sadly. "I will try to visit as much as I possibly can."
"I know its just I only met you a couple hours ago and I want to get to know you more." He stated sadly and sighed.
"I understand that, so maybe you can come visit me tomorrow and we can hang out at Eric's castle." I offered and he looked up. He smiled at me and pulled me into a hug.
"That would be great." Kaleb said and pulled away. The song ended and Kaleb sighed. "Well, I must return you to Eric." Kaleb pulled me over to Eric and I grabbed Eric's hand. "I must take my leave." Kaleb bowed and walked away.
"Finally I have you to myself." Eric said and he smiled at me. I smiled back and squeezed his hand.
"I'm kind of tired, lets get my parents. They wanted to talk to me about something." I stated and he nodded. We saw my parents and walked over to them. They smiled at us, I smiled back. "Hey, we're getting tired and we're ready to leave." I stated and they nodded.
"Lets talk in the other room." My mom stated and they lead us to a room with two couches facing each other. Eric and I sat on one while my parents sat on the other. We sat there in silence for a moment. My parents took a deep breath.
"Okay, so you may have noticed that we're in a castle." My father started and I nodded. "Well its because we're royalty, you're royalty."
"Wait so I'm like a princess?" I questioned and my mom nodded.
"Next line for the throne to be exact." My mother answered.
"What am I?" I asked and my father laughed.
"You are Fae." He replied and smiled.
"Why isn't Kaleb or Juliet taking over the throne?" Eric questioned.
"Juliet doesn't want the throne and Kaleb isn't mature enough for the responsibility." My father explained.
"What about us?" I asked suddenly. My father looked at me confused. "What about Eric and I?"
"Oh, if you are to accept this responsibility then you are able to still live with Eric. As long as you come back when needed." My mother answered.
"Wouldn't that be difficult?" I asked and my mother laughed.
"When the fae meet their mate nothing anyone can do or say will split them up. So, why should we even try?" My father explained and chuckled. "You are tired and have a hard decision to make. Go home, rest, and come back when you're ready to make a decision." Eric held on to my hand and we got up. We smiled at my parents and headed back to the car. My mother kissed my cheek and hugged me tight. Then my father wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead.
"Goodbye you guys, I am so happy to know that my parents weren't dead." I said and smiled. Eric and I got into a limo and the driver drove us to the mall. It was dark and I was very tired from the whole day. I got into the passenger seat while Eric got in the drivers. He smiled at me and I smiled back. I subconsciously played with Eric's hair as I thought about the whole day. We got back to the castle and Eric walked over to my door. He picked me up bridal style and I sighed while laying my head on his chest. "You do know that I have two working legs right?" I asked and he chuckled.
"I know love, but you seem tired and I like the feeling of you in my arms. So, we are both happy." He replied and I laughed. He carried me to the room and somewhere along the way I fell asleep.
