Chapter 1
Kriss walked over to her friend Lola and smiled. "Have you seen Gavin?" Lola asked Kriss in a high pitched voice her eyes drifting over to the new boy in there class. Kriss looked at him; he had shortly cropped brown hair and green eyes the colour of freshly cut grass and the way he looked was just hot.

"Of course I have Lola, I mean just look at him." Kriss turned her view away from Gavin and faced her friend.
"We should invite him to go somewhere."

"I should, shouldn't I?" Lola said "do you think he'll like me?" She batted her eyelashes at her friend.

They both giggled like girls "Maybe." Kriss whispered back.

A knock sounded on the classroom door and the handsome Marvin glided in through the door. He stoped and smirked at me gawking at him, he walked to the teacher and handed them something, then as perfectly as he walked in, he left. Lola nudged Kriss's side "I saw that, you so like him!"

"Shush!" Kriss warned "i dont want eveybody to know."

"I dont know" Lola teased "maybe they should know." She grinned

"He's way older than me Lola, so theres not piont in telling anyone." Kriss played with a piece of her hair blonde and brown coloured hair nervously.

"Calm down i was only kidding." Lola rolled her eyes at Kriss dramatically.

The bell rang and eveyone left the class, Kriss lived in the town her school was in so she didnt need a ride. Lola on the other hand lived a while away. Kriss walked down the cobblestone pavement and kicked at some stones as she passed, she turned into an alleyway for a shortcut and then crossed a road. She turned into a new street and went to her house. She unlocked the door and went inside, her parents were waiting for her in the kitchen. She walked forward and sat opposite her mum and dad. "Everything ok?" I asked breacking the quiet.

The tension in the room thickened "Come back later honey." My mum said sounding stressed.

Kriss got back up and pushed her chair under the table. She mumbled a 'okay' under her breath before running upstairs. She started to run a bath and got some towels from the cubard.

About an hour later she sliped out the bath and into her towel she was on her way to her room when she felt someone's eyes om her back. She turned around to see Steven Jones standing behind her. Steven was one year older than her but he did not live in her house. "Wh-what?" She asked

"Heyy gril" he said arrogantly

"God Steven what are you doing in my house!" She narrowed her eyebrows suspiciously.

"Why are you in a towel?" He asked smirking. She felt self conscious and tried to cover her self up more. "Aw is Kriss Johnson self conscious?" He mocked me.

Kriss raised her hand to slap him but stormed away instead. She slammed the door shut behind her then got changed in privacy.

About a hour later she heard a knock in her door "can i come in?" A male voice said

"Dad?" Kriss asked

"No, Steven." Kriss walked to her to and opened it a crack.

"What do you want Steven?" She said

"I heard Lola liked Gavin?" He said smirking leaning his body against the door frame, his green top lifted up to show some of his abs.

"She doesn't even know him." I retorted back

"So she does like him" he scratched his non-exciting beard as if he was thinking "well then, would she like to hang out with is and Gavin?"

"Who's us?" Kriss cocked an eyebrow

"Me and some lads and lasses. Gavin's one of the lads." He answered

"Gavin spends time with you, poor guy" Mabye Lola did want to spend time with Gavin but I wasnt going to let her go without back up "fine but im going too."

"What?" He seemed genuinely shocked

"You've obviously got some plan going on because you would never help me and Lola for no reason."

"I was going to say that you just owe me a favour but if you don't trust me..."

"Fine" she snapped "See you then, where were you planing on hanging out?"

He smirked "i dont think you'll enjoy it"

"What!" She squeaked loudly

"Climbing" and with that he turned and left. Kriss grabbed her phone to tell Lola the details for tomorrow and then slumped into bed. Kriss hated climbing, her greatest fear was hights.
