Chapter 26
"What are you doing here?" I asked abruptly.
"W-what?" He looked absolutely confused. "I was on my way to see you, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. Anyway, why are you here?"
"I was looking fo-" I cut myself off, did Marvin really need to know who I was running after - literally running after. "It doesn't matter."
"Oh." Marvin flickered his gorgeous eyes down to the floor. Wow, he didn't know what to say, the most confident guy ever doesn't know what to say. Well this is awkward... "So do you want to hang out or not?" He said finally.
"Um, actually I was planning on going out today." I said trying to not be mean.
He raised an eyebrow. "With Ash?"
My cheeks turned pink like strawberries. "H-how did you know?" I gulped.
"I just saw him get a lift from someone, it kinda looked like Lola." He said.
"I-I'm gonna go home, my mum will be back soon. See you at school." I waved and pratically ran home without looking back. If what Marvin says he saw - Ash and Lola together- is true, does that mean they're together together. Hopefully not... Damn it I need to call Ash or Lola right now.
Once I was inside my house I slammed the door shut behind me and went to call Ash right away.
