Chapter 15
We were in the third class of the school day and we had a stupid supply teacher that wouldn't shit up. And for some unknown reason Lola had bailed on school, so I was all alone trying to make sure I didn't blab about last night. Not that they was much to blab about, I mean they only kissed. Marvin kissed a guy...not a girl...not me.

Anyway its not like I care, I hardly knew him at all. I don't want him to kiss me one bit. It wouldn't have worked between us anyway because he's freaking gorgeous and then I'm just meh.

I shook my head slightly and tried to re-focus on my stupid class work. Whats even the point? I knew I'd fail the exam so why revise in the first place?

I asked to go to the toilet then left school altogether. I hated being there without my friends. Then I remembered; I'd never skived before. Well, not alone. What type of excuses do you use the next time you see the teachers and they ask where were you? Last time when I skived Lola thought of all the excuses and everything while I just stood there. Oh man, I was really, really bad at this.

I ignored all the other thoughts chasing each other around my mind and focused on one; Where was I going to go now? I checked my phone for any messages but I hadn't. Where the hell was Lola? I clicked on her phone number and held my phone to my ear while it rang...

"Hello?" An unusually high pitched voice belonging to Lola asked.

I shook my head, dosent she check the ID caller before answering? "Hiya, it's Kriss, I was just wondering where you are and why you weren't in school today?"

"Oh I'm sorry Kriss but I have to go, see you later!" She sounded annoyed that I'd called, but why? What on earth was she doing???

"Wait, wait." I said trying to stop her from hanging up "Wait!"

"BEEP." Said the phone.

I rolled my eyes at how rude my friend could be, then I scanned through my other contacts. I didn't have many but I did have a few. But unfortunately the only one I still knew was Ash.

I decided to send him a text as I did not want to here his voice today.

"Hi" I sent and quickly got a reply.

"Who's thiz?" I narrowed my eyes at the screen.

"Why does everybody keep asking that? I'm Kriss! And use proper grammer Ash, what kind of word is 'thiz'?" Yes, I know what you're thinking, I can be bosy sometimes.

"Sorry I asked" I could tell that he was using sarcasm and if we were talking face to face I bet he would've also rolled his eyes at me.

"Where are you?" I asked, it was a bit of a weird question but I felt like socialising today, not with Ash but oh well.
