Chapter 30
Lola raised her eyebrow in my direction, "So how was it?"I stared blankly at her, not understanding what she's referring to, "How was what?" I said mechanically.
She came closer and elbowed my side lightly, while winking "You know what, your kiss with Ash."
I blushed strongly "Uh, I don't know..."
"You don't have to lie, I know he's a good kisser, remeber I kissed him first." She said playfully.
"What! When did that happe-" I paused, thinking back to the night Lola, Ash and the police had come to my house. "I remember you kissed in the taxi, you know when we were running from the police, but I thougt you both said you didn't remember anything?"
"Well, some of the memories have come back to me...so I know he's a good kisser!" She laughed enthusiastically.
"Okay, yes he's a good kisser..." I trailed off.
"But?" Lola asked, knowing me so well.
"It's just he still hasn't texted me." I sighed feeling defeated.
"It's ok, he will and it'll answer everything, I'm sure of it." Lola smiled reassuringly at me "Anyway, my mum will be expecting me back soon so I'd better go now." She hugged me quickly before pulling away and walking out the room, I heard the front door close so I went upstairs to go lie down on my bed; I'd wait for Ash's text there.

My phone buzzed and shocked me out of my half-sleep, I reached for my phone before it vibrated it's way off my bed. I read the notification on the lock screen. One message, from Ash. I speedily unlocked my phone and eagerly read the text.

Ash?My fingers felt numb, he probably didn't get my last two texts either, which made me feel worse. God, a whole month, this is going to suck. I checked the time on my phone and was about to try to go back to sleep when my phone buzzed again. I reluctantly picked it up and read.
