{ Kemper }

I walked downstairs, phone in my hand, smiling when I walked into the living room and saw my dad and KayKay on the couch. KayKay's been over a lot lately, but I don't mind. She actually came over one day while Dad was at the studio just to hang out with me and get to know me.

"Good morning princess" Dad grinned once he saw me,

"Morning" I smiled, walking around the couch and standing in front of them- I had something I needed to ask my dad and maybe since KayKay is here he won't automatically say no,

"You need to eat something before we go to your game" Dad spoke, lifting an eyebrow,

"I will I will" I waved him off, "I have a question actually"

"Oh god," he looked nervous as KayKay chuckled,

"Can I got a Halloween party with the boys tonight?"

My dad's eyes widened as KayKay nudged him,

"Honey, I-I don't know. All their friends are juniors and seniors. You're a freshman" he exhaled,

"But Dad, the boys will be with me. You know they won't let anything happen. I'll stay with one of them at all times. Come on Dad trust me!" I begged,

"Kemper, I trust you. It's others I don't" he sighed and ran his hands down his face,

"KayKay" I looked to her, "Help?"

"Let her go Ash," she said quietly. He sighed and stared at me,

"Fine. What are all the plans?"

We were now at Target, on the hunt for what I would need for my costume. Hunter and I are going as boxers. He got a black boxer robe and gloves so I'm looking for a black and pink robe and gloves. KayKay looked and she said they had what I needed in the Halloween section here.

Dad followed behind KayKay and me to the back of the store,

"Let's try here" KayKay spoke and guided me down an aisle,

"Found it" I smiled, grabbing it off the shelf, "My size too"

"Found the gloves" Dad spoke. I turned around as he grabbed them,

We headed to check out, but I stopped when we passed the baby stuff. KayKay and Dad followed me as I looked,

"Are you excited to be a sister?" KayKay asked,

"Yeah. I'm a little nervous though" I sighed,

"Why Kemps? You're going to be a good sister" Dad questioned as his arm went over my shoulder,

"Just- I'm just nervous. I'm nervous Mom is going to put ideas in his head that I'm a bad person or that she's not going to let me see him like she promised" I admitted, "Plus we live two hours away. I want him to know me"

"Kemper, I promise you will see your brother" Dad assured,

"Do you know how much longer?" KayKay asked,

"Three months" I smiled, looking at all the different items,

"Go on and pick something" Dad smiled softly. I smiled and grabbed the small stuffed baby raccoon. I know it sounds weird but it was freaking adorable,

"Let's go check out and get home"

I got dressed once Hunter told me he was on his way. I put on a pair of black running shorts, a black Nike sports bra, and the robe. I started to braid my hair as my dad walked in and sat on my bed,

"Where's KayKay?" I asked,

"She went home" he hummed, "But I want to talk to you"

I sighed and finished up, then went and sat next to him,

"I want you to have fun Kemper, but please be safe. Stay with one of the boys and don't take anything unless it's from them or you get it yourself. And, I know you're going to drink- I'm not stupid- but be smart"

"I will Dad" I groaned as my phone buzzed with a text from Hunter telling me he was here.

Dad walked me out but stopped right before I got in the car,

"Call me if you need me to come and get you. I don't care what time it is. I will not be mad or upset"

"I will. Love you"

"Love you too"

My heart clenched as I watched Hunter pull out of my driveway with my daughter in the car. Kemper was going to her first party and it was going to be full of juniors and seniors- she's just a freshman. I'm nervous but I know the boys will look out for her. I just hate that she's growing up.

I walked back inside and changed before grabbing my keys and heading to Calum's. We guys were hanging out there until the kids came back.

"You okay Ash?" Michael laughed as we sat outside,

"Nervous" I mumbled,

"She's okay" Luke stressed. I just nodded.

It was around 1 am when the kids stumbled into the backyard. Sierra and Crystal ended up going to get them since Hunter drank. All four kids were drunk and I quickly found out my daughter was a cuddly drunk.

Hunter all but passed out as soon as he sat down, so Calum got up, picked his son up, and carried him upstairs. Luke pulled Caleb up on his back while Michael held Logan up. I picked Kemper up and let her wrap her arms and legs around me.

I sat Kemper in the front seat and buckled her. I was about to close the door when I heard her mumble,

"What was that Kemps?" I asked,

"I had so much fun" she whispered,

"I'm glad princess, but it won't be so fun in the morning when you're hungover"

"Oh well"
