{ 3d Person POV }
Everyone gathered in the courtroom. The Irwin's had all kinds of support. Kemper and Oliver were sat separate from both KayKay and Ashton and Brian and Jessica.
Kemper watched her mom and stepdad be taken away to jail for the second time in her life. She knows that she shouldn't be necessarily happy, but she was. She was relieved. No more pain and unnecessary suffering. She was now where she needed to be forever- with her dad and KayKay.
Once Jessica and Brian were removed from the courtroom, the judge looked towards Kemper,
"Kemper, you are legally free from your mother and I hear you already know what you want to do?"
Kemper stood, looking towards KayKay,
"I do. I want Kaitlin Blaisdell to adopt me"
The judge smiled and motioned the two of them forward. They stepped up and signed papers,
"Congratulations," she whispered. Kemper immediately embraced KayKay in a hug before the judge broke them up,
"I believe we have one more adoption to grant"
Kemper ran off the stand and grabbed her baby brother as her father walked up to join KayKay. Within seconds the judge hit the gavel,
"Congratulations Irwin family"
That was when Kemper knew she was safe and her brother was safe. She knew they'd be okay.
