Saving Belle

Chapter 12

Recap-"It was abuse wasn't it?" Isaac asked.

"...Yeah.."

"Go take care of her, but we want to meet her." Isaac told me.

Leo's POV: 

My friends have been bugging me nonstop for three days. 

Jack has called me 4 times today and it's not even 4 in the afternoon

Here comes the fifth call of the day. 

"What Jack?" 

"What about a video call or even just a normal call?" 

"Goodbye Jack." 

"What about texting?!?" He said as I hung up. 

Xander got Belle to feel comfortable enough to not ask to get herself anything to drink. 

Since then she's gotten really into tea. Specifically chamomile tea. 

She was sipping on it in the kitchen while I was there on the phone with Jack. 

"A-Are you ok?" She asked.

"Yeah my friends are just being pests." I told her with a smile.

A little while later Xander walked into my room without knocking.

"Dude knock." I told him.

"Whatever man I told Liam about Belle a few years ago and I told her she's back and he wants to meet her. Like a lot."

"Yeah so do my friends." I told him.

"I told him to give me some time, but you know he can't keep anything from Mason so I already knew he was gonna know since I told Liam, but now they wanna meet her." 

"He really can't. Jack won't leave me alone. How should we go about this?" 

"I mean I think slowly and carefully and I also think we might have to tell them a little bit about Belle's situation so they won't be stupid." 

"I think you're right. Jack wanted to call or video call or even text, so maybe starting with that?"

"I think that's a good idea, but um...does she know how to spell?" He asked.

How do we not know. She's been here for almost a month. 

"I uh don't know..." 

"When is Enzo getting back from his trip?" 

"I think in a few days if it doesn't get extended again." 

"Ok I call introducing Belle to my friend of choice first." He said running out of the room. 

"What NO!" I said chasing after him. 

We were running around when we bumped into Belle who had a hot cup of tea that spilled all over Xander. 

"I-I-I'm s-sorry..." She looked like she was about to cry. 

"Hahahaha Xander that's what you get for trying to have Belle meet your friends first." I told him while laughing. 

"May I?" He asked a stunned Belle for the remaining tea in her cup. 

She of course gave it to him. 

He walked tried running over to me and when he did I ran over to Belle and used her as a shield. 

"You wouldn't want to spill tea on our sweet baby sister right Xander?" I teased. 

He started running after us and I picked her up with me still using her as a shield. Xander running and tripping on things. 

We all stopped when we heard laughing. 

It was Belle and her little giggle made the world stop. 

"That's the first time we've heard you laugh." Belle Xander said. 

"I wanna hear it again." I said and I whisked her around pretending to dance while Xander started to chase us again. 

"Her laughing made the house feel like a home again." 

Soon Ian and Luca came into the living room to see what was going on.

Smiles were plastered on their faces.
