Saving Belle

Chapter 31

A/N- Sorry for the short chapters. I'm gonna try to keep them around 500 words. I don't think I can make them longer, but I'll try to update more often. If it's around 200 words I try to do a double update. I just end the chapters when I feel like it reaches a natural end for that day/situation. Thank you for 52K!!!

Leo's POV: 

"So Belle around 2PM today is when I have a break in my schedule and I'll take you anywhere you wanna go for lunch, so make sure to start thinking." 

No type of response. 

"Can we talk Belle. I miss your voice and I want to know how you're doing." 

"I-I-I..." She stumbled. 

"Belle we're here for you. Even Xander. I know he really broke your trust, but he really misses you. We all do." 

A few tears fell down her cheeks.

"Shit I didn't mean to make you cry, I'm sorry." 

"I-I can't get him o-out of my he-head."

"Who can't you get out of your head?" 

"Mr. Meyer.."

"He hurt you didn't he?" I said sadly knowing the answer. 

She nodded her head. 

"How did he hurt you?" 

She shook her head not wanting to tell me. 

I pulled the car over and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm here for you whenever you want to talk, or just for a hug, or anything at all. We all are." 

"Is Xander mad at me?.." 

"He is not. He has a bad temper sometimes, but I don't think he could be mad at you."

"Ok.." 

"Now let's have a good day at work!" 

Belle has just been sitting on a stool reading for hours now. 

I'm currently tattooing a man who is tall and mean looking. 

He didn't bother me, I'm used to being around scary burly looking people, but Belle isn't. 

I could tell he was putting her on edge. 

"Hey Belle after I finish him up I have a friend of mine coming in for a tattoo, if you don't want to meet him you'll have to wait in the back or have one of the others pick you up. It's up to you." 

"Can I meet him?"

"Yes of course. He'd love to meet you." 

About an hour later Isaac comes into the shop. 

I told him Belle was gonna be here when she decided to stay. 

"Hey Belle this is my friend Isaac. Issac this is Belle." 

"How's it going?" He asked her. 

"Good how 'bout yourself?" 

"Pretty good. I've heard a lot about you. He couldn't stop talking about you." Isaac said. 

I started his tattoo and him and Belle were talking about tea.

"Are you coming to lunch with us?" Belle asked.

"I don't think I was part of that plan." He said. 

"Do you want to?" 

"If you want me to." 

"I-Is that ok Leo?" She asked.

"Uh yes. Yeah. Of course." I stumbled out   

So after I finished Isaac's tattoo we went out. 

I soon realized that Belle hadn't really been out to eat much so she didn't know her options. 

We just decided to go to a little diner. 

"Are you Leo's best friend?" She asked. 

"I think I'm one of them, but I think Jack is the best out of us." 

"Oh." 

"Who's your best friend?" 

"Can it be one of my brothers?" She asked. 

I know for a fact it's not gonna be me, unless Xander fucked up so bad she still doesn't want to be around him ever. 

"Of course." He said. 

"Then maybe Xander, but he can get scary..." 

"Yeah the little dudes got some anger. What did he do around you?" 

"He yelled at me.." 

I was just staying quiet, he's making her open up like no one has ever done. 

"That's not fun. Why'd he do that?" 

"B-Because I wouldn't tell him something.." 

"That's not cool of him. How did it make you feel?" 

"Scared.." 

"That makes sense. I think I'd be scared too." 

"You'd be scared?" She asked. 

"Well yeah, getting yelled at can be scary, but he wouldn't ever hurt you, or anything." 

"Yeah that's true. It didn't feel like that right when he yelled.." 

"I bet. Is what he wanted you to tell him serious?" He asked. 

Please open up just a bit more Belle. She's never this open to talking. 

"I think it might be." 

"Are you safe?" 

"I think so.." 

"Then he'll get over it, just try to open up to him sometime, I'm sure he'd really value that." 

"I like talking to you." She said. 

"I like talking to you too."
