Saving Belle

Chapter 43

Enzo's POV: 

We just got back from the dog park. 

She had a little skip in her step. 

"Hey Belle May, did you have fun at the park?" Ian asked. 

"I did indeed. There was this one dog with a squished face named Greg and it was so cute, but the best dog was all wrinkly." 

"Tell me more." Ian said. 

It was just Belle, Ian, Leo, and I in the kitchen. 

"Well Enzo ruined his suit, but he said it was ok. A big dog jumped on him and knocked him into the mud, and licked his face." 

"Everyone was so nice. Ezra loves dogs I can't wait to tell him all about it tomorrow. Oh and we got donuts. Have you ever had a donut?" 

"I have. was this your first time having one?" 

"It was, and it was so good. Have you had one Leo?" 

"I have." 

We were all pretty tense with learning how little she has still experienced. 

But we didn't show it much. 

We didn't want to ruin her mood. 

We need to get better at taking her out of the house. 

"I'm gonna make some tea and go tell Liam and Xander."

We waited to talk until after she went to go tell them. 

"Ok so we need to step up up our game as brothers." Leo said. 

"Agreed. She hasn't even had a donut." 

"She said something earlier that made me realize she still doesn't have that much control over her life. She said we plan out her days, and that's completely true. She needs to have more choices." 

"Definitely. And I think she should hangout with people more. She really trusts Isaac, but my other friends really want to officially meet her." Leo said. 

"Yeah and maybe more with Ezra and even Elliot. I know we aren't the biggest fan of him, but he did help Belle before we could get to her." 

"True." 

A/N- Sorry for such a short chapter. I just wanted to put something out. I'm hoping to update again either today or in the next few days. Side note I'm going by Emmett now so I will be signing my name as such from now on. Thank you!
