Mason's POV:
Elliot was just sitting in the living room staring forward.
I know what that means for him.
He's gone down the rabbit hole on something.
"Hey man you good?" I asked.
His head shot straight to me.
"Yeah, when'd you get home?"
"Like ten minutes ago. I thought I'd make this sandwich before interrupting your process."
"Something happened to her...Right?"
"Yeah." I said.
"Something bad?"
"Yeah.."
"We were at the park yesterday and she said something kind of unnerving."
"What'd she say?" This had my ears peaked. If she opens up to people her age that'd be huge.
"Pretty much that she's so used to bad things happening that it feels weird or like uncomfortable when it's not. I mean wouldn't she be happy it's done?"
"I mean it's common for people with chronic PTSD to feel uncomfortable in the calmness of life after everything is over."
"Really?"
"Totally. I mean it's what she was used to for her whole life, and then suddenly she was away from it."
"What happened?"
"That's not my story to tell. All I can say is treat her with the same amount of compassion and patience you treat Ezra with."
"I can do that."
Elliot's POV:
I'm at Belle's again.
Ezra said he was gonna meet me here, but he's running late.
I was just gonna wait outside, but Belle came out holding a cup of tea.
"Is Ezra not here yet?"
"He's running a few minutes late."
"Can I sit with you while we wait?"
"S-Sure." I coughed a little bit to hide my stutter.
She makes me a little nervous.
I want her to like me.
"Can we listen to more music?"
"Yeah we can do that."
Belle's POV:
Elliot put on a song and moved a little closer to me.
"This is called Moonlight. I like it a lot."
I felt a little nervous when he came closer, but it also didn't feel bad.
"I like your music I think."
He looks kinda scary, but I don't think he scares me.
Xander's POV:
I was walking downstairs to go for a drive with Liam, when I saw Enzo peaking through the curtains, while sipping his coffee.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Shh" He said and waved me over.
I peaked through the window and saw Belle and Elliot laughing together.
They looked to be having a really good time.
"Come on Liam we can go through the back."
"What? Whats going on?"
"I'll tell you in the car."
I don't like him much, but he seems good for Belle.
