Xanders POV:
It was 11PM and I was trying to get a few hours of sleep before Belle's nightmares woke me up.
We've all decided I was gonna be the one to take care of helping her with her nightmares cause we all went in there a few nights ago and it really freaked her out.
My phone started ringing and I saw it was Liam and I knew something had happened.
"Hey man what's up I answered."
"Xan. It happened again. I can't stay there right now. My Dad gave me a black eye and I taste blood, my face is fucked up." He said crying.
"Where are you?"
"I'm at the ponds by my house."
"Ok stay there I'm coming to get yo- Shit my sister's having another nightmare. Is it ok if she comes I'm the only one that wakes her up."
"Yeah man."
"Ok I'll be there in about 20 min" I told him.
"Ok hurry my phone's about to die and there are creepy people all over."
"Ok man I'll go fast bye."
I ran into Belle's room and she woke up a lot faster than usual, but she was still crying.
After about 5 min when she calmed down a bit I brought Liam up.
"Hey Belle a friend of mine who used to be here a lot of the time is having some issues at home and needs to stay here for awhile and I need to pick him up do you wanna come with me?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Ok I'll grab the soft blanket and you can just wear your slippers."
She got her slippers on and I wiped my thumb over her tear stained cheeks.
I held her hand and walked to Ian's door.
"Ian, I'm picking up Liam and taking Belle with me. I'll be back in a bit." I said walking in.
"Ok stay safe and let him know he's cooking tomorrow." He said rubbing his eyes.
I lead Belle outside and in my car.
I drove around the Ponds and when I found him he was barefoot and in shorts and a tank top.
There is actual snow on the ground.
He hobbled over to the back seat and got in.
"Hi my uh my name is Liam.." He said with a shaky voice.
She just moved further away.
Belle sat like she was trying to stay as far away from him as possible.
When she saw his bruises her breathe got shallower and she started shaking.
"It's ok I didn't hit anyone, they hit me so I'm not gonna hurt you." He told her and she did calm down a little.
"McDonalds or Taco Bell?" I asked. Whenever this happens which is a lot we always go to one of those.
"McDonalds."
