ミ★ ( something wicked, act one ) ★彡Rhea finds herself at her thinking spot a lot more often than normal these days. Usually, she's there to get some time away from the craziness that is her family, like after an argument with her parents or brother, but now it seems it's the only quiet place she can find away from her crazy life. She had avoided it for a while after the accident where she took someone's life, but it's the only place that has a calming effect on her because it's been her place for so long. It's the serenity of the creek near the edge of the old Lockwood estate and the calming of the water rippling against itself that makes her mind feel calm even though it's most definitely not quiet. Her knees are brought up to her chest for comfort as she uses the comforting silence to help gather her thoughts.
She had told her mom she was going to be out for a while so she could buy as much time needed in order to get her mind straight. What Elijah had said to her earlier rattled her to her core, and now she's jumping at every hooting owl or rustle of the leaves because she thinks it's the possibility of Klaus coming after her like she was told.
She hears the rustling of leaves behind her, but instead of jumping in fright, it brought comfort because of the scent. It's the scent that replicates her own because it's her twin that's approaching her and not Klaus, "I thought you would be halfway across the country by now." She spoke, a half smirk on her face as she spoke. She turned to look at him briefly before returning to her previous position, "Mom told me you were running away."
Carol had called her prior to her arriving to the spot, freaking out because she received a note from Tyler saying that he was sorry and that he was leaving town. Another reason why she needed to think. She's never been more than five minutes away from Tyler her entire life, and now he was leaving town to God knows where for who knows how long. Rhea doesn't think she'll take the distance between them very well.
"I wasn't going to leave without saying goodbye and I knew you'd be there." Tyler explains before going to sit beside her, "And I'm not running away."
Rhea huffed and rolled her eyes at his obliviousness, "You keep telling yourself that." She nudged him playfully before dropping to a more serious look, "But, why are you leaving? What's going on?"
"I just can't do this anymore. I don't want to be like this." He whispered sadly, looking down at his hands that shook, his mind picturing as if they were covered in blood—reminding him of what he had done. "And tonight, I did something that ended up hurting someone I cared about because I was so desperate to not be like this anymore."
