ミ★ ( something wicked, act three ) ★彡If there was one thing that Rhea knew, it was that the road to acceptance was tough. There was denial; and Rhea refused to accept that she had lost her brother because she was such a shitty person. Then came anger; and she was angry that he was willing to give up on them so quickly and throw her to the side like a piece of trash. Bargaining came next; and Rhea begged that Tyler wouldn't give up on them when she offered to break their bond. Then there was depression; and Rhea seemed to feel a lot of that lately with everything that was happening around her, and finally came acceptance; and Rhea simply had to accept that what was done, was done.
She agonised over it for hours. She truly didn't want to accept that it was over even after Tyler had said he hated her. But, he couldn't blame her since she didn't hold any redeeming qualities in his eyes anymore, especially after she had ran like hell the minute Rebekah granted her freedom from that stuffy library—the one that felt like the walls were closing in on her with every passing second that Tyler continued to glare at her, hoping she would just combust. Supposedly, Katherine was right after all—Rhea did have a lot in common with the Petrova doppelgänger line. She caused chaos and strife in her wake, and then she would run like hell in the other direction to do it all over again without remorse or shame, and she only had eternity to repeat the process over and over again.
Rhea hesitated to make the call. She owed it to Tyler to do it after everything she had done to him. It was the only thing he had asked for but she didn't want to do it. It was during an extremely hot bath where the water left her skin red that she realised that it was now or never because if she didn't do it now, she would never do it.
Tyler was her brother—her twin—they shared a womb for nine months, and they were all they had for years before their circle expanded with Matt, Caroline, Bonnie and Elena. Rhea would've died for him, and he would've died for her if it came down to it. She would've done anything for him—and she still would—even if it killed her to do so. Tyler had asked for one thing and she would grant him it because she owed it to him to do so. Tyler wanted to be done of her for once and for all, and she had to accept that. Tyler was practically her other half.
Her finger hovered over the call button on her mobile device. The only type of person that could break the bond between twin werewolf siblings like herself and Tyler was a witch or a warlock. She couldn't ask Bonnie because she couldn't be the one to involve her in such a mess—more so make her pick a side between her closest friends. She also didn't want to stress her out since she was aware that Bonnie was only starting to regain her magic back, and Rhea was sure that asking Bonnie to perform a spell that large would drain her of everything she worked so hard to get back.
