If you had asked Rhea Lockwood how she thought her human life would end, she would tell you that she hoped she would go peacefully. Whether it was in her sleep due to old age, or due to an acquired illness she got. Either way, she hoped it wasn't painful. Since her finding out about the reality of Mystic Falls and it's recent influx of supernatural citizens, she expected it to end by the end of the year due to the rotting of flesh that had spread further across her skin. What she didn't expect was for it to end unexpectedly by the hands of Klaus Mikaelson.

It had all started the night of senior prank night, where Rhea, Tyler, Bonnie, Caroline and Elena sat in one of the math classrooms of their high school as they set up several mousetraps in the dark when the door opened on them and they all froze. It was too dark to tell who it was that entered the classroom despite the light peering in from the lit up corridor when the person took a step forward and set off several off the mousetraps, the light turning on to reveal Matt Donovan standing there in shock and covered in sweat.

Caroline stood up, "Oh, come on! Seriously?" She groaned while everyone stood up from their spots, "Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?"

Tyler smirked at his friend as he leaned against the classroom's television, "Forgot about senior prank night, huh?"

Matt chuckled, the feeling of his heart rate going down from the minor heart attack he just experienced that began when he thought someone was breaking into the school while he was alone working out, "Clearly."

"How could you forget?" Rhea raised an eyebrow, "Caroline's been waiting for this day since we were freshman and hasn't stopped talking about it ever since." She joked, laughing when Caroline threw a mousetrap at her, ducking just in time before it hit her and fell to the floor, going off once again.

"Yeah, Matt. If I'm doing this, you're doing this." Elena smirked, pointing at him with a rolled up notebook that had plans for what classrooms were going to be hit with which pranks.

"I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this." He responded with a laugh and Tyler threw his hands up and sent a look to Rhea who shrugged in response—it was his friend that was being lame.

"Caroline and Rhea are making us." Bonnie told him and it was Rhea's turn to groan out while throwing her hands up for being ousted.

Caroline let out an exasperated sigh, "We're about to be seniors. These are the memories that stay with us forever, and if we don't—"
