ミ★ ( something wicked, act two ) ★彡In all honesty, Rhea's a little glad that Damon had snapped her neck before the bonfire because then she wouldn't have had to deal with the crap that happened during it; although she would never admit it to him, she is grateful because she hates the idea of ghosts. You know what turned up to the party? Ghosts. Rhea should've guessed that since werewolves, witches and vampires were real, that ghosts would eventually come out as real also, but, now that it was coming true—she wished it hadn't. After Matt had stepped foot on the Other Side the night of senior prank night, Vicki had been able to communicate with him and told him that there was a way for her to come back. The poor boy didn't think anything of it until she knocked him out afterwards and tried to kill Elena, as the witch she made a deal with promised her she wouldn't have to be alone anymore if Klaus couldn't make anymore hybrids.
No one had a clue that they were even still communicating until it came to light during the plan that came up with to take Stefan down, but, it was interrupted by Vicki; who tried to barbecue Elena alive in a car soaked in gasoline with Stefan still in it from a place called the Other Side. Bonnie managed to send away Vicki just in time for Alaric to break Elena and Stefan out of the car before it exploded.
"So, when you did the spell to send Vicki away, did that get rid of Anna, too?" Caroline asked from the bottom of the ladder as she handed Bonnie a lantern to hang up in the trees.
"I wish." Bonnie scowled as she struggled at hang up the lantern on the branch, "All I did was block the magic that was helping Vicki get a physical foothold here." She explained before finally getting it up properly and coming down the ladder, "Jeremy's still got a direct line to the Other Side, and as long as he wants to see Anna, and she wants to see him... she's still here."
"Okay, you don't think I can actually resist commenting on that." Caroline scoffed while Rhea scowled at the situation—Bonnie definitely didn't deserve that happening to her.
"There. You commented." Bonnie shrugged calmly although there was a hint of sadness in her tone as she reached for another lantern.
Rhea huffed, "Bonnie..." She trailed.
Bonnie stopped what she was during to turn to look at her friends and throw her arms up, "What do you want me to say? I went against the balance of nature when I brought Jeremy back to life, and now I'm paying the consequences." The witch snapped at her two friends.
"Okay, but, when they warned you of that, you obviously didn't think they meant that you'd have to compete against your boyfriend's ex-girlfriend... that's a ghost." Rhea made a face, "You'd think that it'd somehow manifest on you physically or something."
