ミ★ ( something wicked, act three ) ★彡Rhea grabbed the drink off of one of the waiter's trays before bringing the glass chute to her lips. It was the day of the Miss Mystic Pageant and all she could think about was how ironic it was for her to be there. The last one she was at, her life had complete changed and she couldn't help but wonder if there was a chance of it happening again. She remembered what her life was like during the last time. Rhea was human and completely oblivious to the world around her—sure she knew that Bonnie was a witch, but, beyond that she had no idea about the supernatural world that existed in Mystic Falls. She liked to think she was a different person back then, but, she knew she was the same old bitch she was back when this all started; she was only a bitch for different reasons now.
The Miss Mystic Falls pageant only brought questions to her if something drastic would happen to them all once again, Rhea could only hope that it would exclude her—she had had enough of the everlasting changes in her life and she was ready for it all to slow down for once.
Katherine had skipped town once again after she realised that Rhea wasn't going to help her with the hunt for the cure, and was going to chase her own leads and see if she could get to it before anyone else. The hybrid really couldn't see the appeal to it all as she quite enjoyed being the predatory species—she couldn't understand why someone would choose to take something that would make them weak and vulnerable.
Her eyes spotted Caroline in the distance busting around the tables, picking up empty glasses and snapping at the wait staff before turning her anger towards the band, telling them to pick up the tempo. She smirked before walking over towards her, "You're being very mean to these poor people—and that's saying something coming from me." She remarked and Caroline jumped slightly.
"Oh, my God." She tensed, almost frightened of her friend's appearance, "What are you doing here?"
Rhea looked around before she looked back at her friend, "It's my house." She pointed out like it was obvious, "I'm a founding member as well, I'm literally obligated to be here." Her words gave her déjà vu. It was just like the masquerade ball when Caroline was keeping her in the dark about her being a vampire, and that an extremely old and dangerous one was lurking within the walls of her house. That was until she eventually ended up breaking her curse.
She smelt him before she heard him. Rhea didn't react to his presence knowing that was what he wanted. She then felt Elijah's hand snake around her waist and pull her close, turning her head to scowl at Klaus who chuckled at the interaction, "They didn't waste any time, did they?" He nodded his head in the direction of Hayley and Tyler who had just arrived to the party. Caroline's face fell.
