A/N: Sorry for the super long wait, this chapter was long and it took me a long time to write. Plus, exams were crazy. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter!

***May's p.o.v***

"May, ready to go?" Laxus asked.

I turned around with a smile.

"Hmm-mmm," I nodded happily running up to him and the others.

"We better hurry or we're going to miss the train," Freed reminded.

Laxus and I groaned.

"Sorry you two, but you're going to have to suffer through it," Ever smiled softly.

Bickslow laughed, "Yeah, it's the quickest way to get there if we want to get there before nightfall."

Laxus sighed, "Let's just go."

***Timeskip***

"Ice Dragon; Wing Attack!" I shouted, scattering the goons before me.

"May!" I heard Laxus call out through the fighting.

I turned to him.

"Back up Freed!" Laxus ordered.

I nodded, rushing over to thin the herd around Freed.

"Ice Dragon Freeze Burst!" I shouted, blasting away goons around Freed with my ice attacks.

"Dark Écriture; Pain!" Freed shouted, knocking out a few more goons.

"Thanks May," Freed panted.

I smiled at him with a nod.

"Ice Dragon; Talon!"

"Dark Écriture; Fear!"

"Ice Dragon's Crushing Fang!" We yelled as we continued to battle our dark guild opponents.

Suddenly, one of the dark guild goons shot a magic bullet, which exploded on the ground next to us, sending Freed and I flying.

...

"May..." someone called out through the haze.

"May, come on," they called again.

"May!" Freed called out.

I bolted up, grabbing my head at the sharp pang of pain.

"Are you alright May?" Freed asked worriedly from beside me.

I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm ok," I mumbled, rubbing my head.

"That blast knocked us into another corridor," Freed mumbled.

'I must of hit my head after getting blasted back,' I thought.

"Let's hurry back and help the others," I exclaimed, standing up.

Freed smiled, nodding in agreement, standing up beside me.

We ran back to the fight to join the others before a wall suddenly came down in front of us, making us jump back in shock.

Right after, another wall suddenly came down between us, separating us.

"Freed!" I shouted, banging on the wall.

"I'm alright. Are you-" Freed asked from the other side of the wall.

"Yeah, I'm ok," I called back.

"It seems they wish to separate us. There's only one corridor left to go down over here," Freed explained.

I turned around. "There's two corridors on my side," I called back to him.
