Shit! I think he saw my underwear.

This is so embarrassing!

He was probably lying about not seeing anything just to make me feel better.

Ughh, I'm probably overthinking this.

I probably ruined all chances of him liking me or something like that.

It had been a few weeks since I had first met Holden and let me just say, he was definitely the quiet type.

I had also discovered that he was part of the football team and was popular with the ladies.

A guy like Holden would probably have tons of girls at his feet. Add in the fact that he was a football player and you'd get a swarm of girls for sure.

He'd probably not go for someone like me.

The car came to a halt and I looked up at the house we had stopped at.

Woah, this was huge.

"Wow. I love your house. It's a castle." I tell him and he simply sighs, as he opens the car door leaving me alone in the car.

Suddenly I see him appear at my side, as he opens the door for me and I smile up at him.

Such a gentleman.

"Thank you." I mumble and he simply nods at me.

I step out of the car and sigh.

This was going to be the most quiet hang out ever.

. . .

"And I think that's done!" Eleonor says as she stares at our finished work.

It had taken a long time for us to build this....whatever it is and the whole time I could not stop thinking about how to ask her out.

I've been wanting to for a few days, but I couldn't find the guts to.

Why couldn't it be simple?

"Yeah, thanks." I mutter and she smiles at me.

Maybe now's my chance to ask her out or something.

"Umm, Eleonor." I start, and she instantly looks up at me.

Shit, she was so beautiful.

I was speechless.

Come on, Holden you could do this.

"Yeah?" She asks and I sigh, shaking my head.

Fuck, maybe not now. Maybe I had to plan it or something. Maybe I needed a strategy like one if coach's plans or something.

I was a pussy.

"Nothing." I simply say and she sighs, frowning at me.

"Holden." She mutters and I stare back at her.

"Are we okay?" She asks and I stare back at her.

"Yeah, why would you ask that?" I ask her and she shakes her head as she sighs.

"It's just that...Shit. Phew, here it goes." She says and I raise a brow at her.

Why was she getting all flustered?

"It's always awkward between us. I've sat next to you for a few weeks now and I see how you act with your friends and how you're so natural with them and with me you barely say anything! I mean maybe it's because you saw my underwear earlier and you're embarrassed or something? Omygod what did I just say, I mean you've probably got a million girls or something and that's just inappropriate. Shit!" She says, rambling on and on.
