You're a fuck up, Garrett.

Shit!

I sit on the floor of my bedroom as continue to stare at the door she had walked out of.

"Goodbye Garrett."

I was a fucking idiot.

I needed to get her back.

She wasn't going even an inch near that fucking Noah Miller.

Looks like there was a party I needed to go to.

. . .

"Penelope, I loved what you've done with the place! It's amazing!" A sophomore tells me as I nod with a smile.

"It was all Ursula. I just followed what she had suggested." I tell her and she nods with a smile.

"Ursula is the best!" She says and I give her a smile as she walks over to her friends.

I sigh and wince as I remember the whole fight I had with Garrett.

There was nothing else to think about. He wasn't serious about me and that was it.

I needed to move on.

I spot Holden and Nora as they held hands and talked to each other with smiles on their faces.

They were adorable.

She was always at his games and cheered for him next to Garrett who was watching Holden's games as well. At first I thought she had a thing for Garrett and hearing Garrett ask if she was hot had me a bit annoyed.

Wait, what the hell was wrong with me?

Nora was a sweet girl and seeing her with Garrett angered me? Why the hell did I feel this way?

I shouldn't be.

"Penelope, hey." I turn and see Noah smiling at me.

He looked great, but then I remembered how much Garrett hated him.

He never told me why.

"Noah, hi. Glad you could make it." I say and he smiles back at me.

"Umm, I was just gonna ask if you thought about that date I was asking you earlier? I mean it's fine no pressure. I was just wondering." He says and I nod at him.

Shit, I hadn't answered him about that.

We were interrupted earlier by Ursula who I had needed to comfort at the time.

"Noah, umm. I'm sorry but I'm kinda busy with my work right now as a president, but if I've got time then sure why not?" I tell him and he gives me a small smile, nodding.

Shit, why did I feel guilty all of a sudden?

"Sure, I understand. I'll hold you to that date. You want a drink?" He says and smiles.

I nod and he walks away, leaving me alone again.

Suddenly I gasp as I see Garrett walk into the room.

What the hell was he doing here?! He didn't go to school parties like this!

I sigh as his eyes meet mine from across the room and he starts to walk towards me.

I instantly turn away and I suddenly feel a hand wrapped around my elbow.

"Penn, we need to talk." Garrett says and I pull my arm away from him.

I shake my head and sigh.

"There's nothing to talk about. Don't make a scene." I tell him and he scoffs, staring back at me.
