Fuck, I couldn't be late to dinner.

The plan had to go smoothly. My mother and father told me that it was important for them to help their friend from before.

His family was in crisis and we had to step in and help them.

Daniel Grayson was a good man.

He was good friends with my father and had supported my parents when they had just started their business which meant we owe him big time.

Did I want to get married? No, but I trusted in my parent's plan and I knew they wouldn't think of something as crazy as marriage if it wasn't necessary.

I just wish Grayson's daughter wasn't stuck up.

I didn't settle down and I was known for keeping things casual with women so I didn't have anyone I was currently in a relationship with.

I freaked out when my parents told me I had to marry somebody, but they did mention it was all a part of a plan and I just needed to trust them on this.

I finally arrived at the dinner place and rushed inside, the waiters instantly recognizing me.

I had just come from work, performing at some gig with my band.

I helped run my family's business but I did some singing from time to time.

My parents didn't know that though.

Performing made me feel so alive. I couldn't let it go.

The crowds, the music we created and it did come with the perks being the ladies I had slept with.

Maybe a particular girl as well.

Fuck, I couldn't keep her out of my head.

The girl who had fixed me up, rode me til dawn and told me she wanted nothing to do with me after.

She was spontaneous indeed, and it was the first time I had begged a girl to stay with me.

Fuck, the way her fingers tugged at my hair when she came undone on top of me and the way her kisses were addicting that I hadn't noticed the pain in my lip at all.

That was definitely a memory that would be etched in my brain forever.

Focus Grant, you were getting married. You couldn't think about a hook up at a time like this.

I was stupid for sleeping with her. Now the memory of her was with me forever.

I just needed to forget with another hook up, that's it.

Right, forget her Grant.

I spot my parents and Tristan seated across four people and walk towards the table.

This was it.

My mother had greeted me and that's when I accidentally swear in front of the whole table.

Well I'll be damned.

Seated across from me is the girl I had just slept with and the same surprised expression was on her face.

Fuck me.

She was dressed in a regular dress, a green one as well, but obviously different from what she had worn last night.

I guess she loved green. I had to take note of that.

She didn't look too happy to see me.

But holy fuck was I happy to see her here.

Wait? Was she Grayson's daughter?

There were three of them sitting here but she definitely looked like she was the oldest out of the bunch and the girls next to her didn't look old enough to be considered to get married.
