I woke up to see the wooden roof of homestead. Then everything that had happened the day before came back like a tsunami. I had a panic attack in the Maze. In front of Alby. I showed weakness in front of him. On top of that, he had to carry me back to my hammock. I felt stupid and wea-

"Hey." his voice cut me off, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Are you alright? You fell asleep yesterday after you had a panic attack"

"Yeah, I-I'm sorry, Alby. I didn't want you to see any of that." I said sitting up a bit.

"Hey, don't say that. It's ok. You should have told me. I could have helped you, y/n."

"I- I-" I trailed trying to think of something to say to him. "I didn't want you to think you had to take care of me. An- and I thought that if I just didn't say anything that it would be better. I'm sorry, Alby. I-" I took a deep breath but I couldn't continue, so I closed my eyes and put my face in my hands. "I'm sorry."

"No. Stop being sorry y/n. It's not your fault. You need to tell me these thing y/n. You're like my little sister, don't worry about me 'feeling like I need to take care of you', I already do. We take care of each other. That's how this works," he sat down next to me on my hammock. "Ok?" he said. I didn't respond.

He took my hands in his, "Ok?" he said a little louder. I looked up at him my eyes starting to tear up at his words. I finally nodded. He wrapped his arms around me and I did the same. We sat there for a while just hugging him tightly.

He pulled away and wiped the tears off my face. "Ok. I'm going to go get you some breakfast, ok?" he said getting up from his seat.

I nodded my head. "All right, from now on I need you to talk to me about this stuff, ok Chipmunk?" I nodded again, a small smile spreading across my face due to the little nickname he had given me. Chipmunk, I don't really know why he called me that. But he really only called me by my real name when he was serious.

"Ok, what do you want to eat?" he asked me.

"I'm not that hungry right now. I'll probably eat something later" I answered.

"Ok. Relax for today, all right? You need rest. I'm gonna go work on the showers. I'm want to build it into a little shack. It'll give us a little more privacy."

I just nodded, putting my head back on the pillow.

He started walking out of the room, "Albs?" I asked trying to catch his attention. "Yeah, Chipmunk?" he said turning around in the doorframe of the homestead. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Chipmunk. Now get some rest. I'll come back later to check on you." he said before turning around once more and walking outside.

Once again, I fell asleep, thinking of what Alby said to me.

-Time skip, 4 hours-

I awoke again in my hammock, where I was left. I was super hungry so I got up and out of bed and walked out. My head hurt and so did my legs, probably from my little episode from yesterday.

I spotted Alby and decided to make us a little snack before I walked over to him and handed him an apple and sandwich.

"Hey, Alby. What are you doing?" I asked to start a conversation with him.

"Well, I just finished building are little bathroom, and I was actually just about to go check on you. What are you doing out of bed? I thought I told you to rest." he told me while munching on his sandwich.

"I've been resting Albs, don't worry, I'm fine. But my head is pounding. So I'm gonna sit right here if ya don't mind." I said giggling and siting on the grass next to whatever he was doing.
